Doggy Badges
At Doggyspace you can earn badges for your doggy. Some badges will be easy to acquire, while others will take many hours of hard work to earn you the exclusive right to wear such badges on your profile. Below you will find a list of current badges or badge sets. You should check back often to see what new badges you could work towards earning.
Friend badge - These badges show your success at making and keeping friends. Currently, you can earn badges for 100, 500, 1,000, and 5,000 friends.
Woof badge - These badges show your social skills among your doggy friends. The rank is given based on the number of post your dog makes in friend's profiles, journals and media. There are a total of 5 badges that you can collect (Runt - Not too shy to talk, Scamp - Aware but dangerous, Scout - Familiar around these parts, Leader - Respected by all, Elder - Wise beyond years).
Olympic badges - These badges are only given to the top winners of the Doggyspace Olympic games that are held on the site around the same time as the World Olympic games (See the
Doggyspace.com/olympics).
Referral Badge - Earn the referral badge by inviting other doggies you know to join Doggyspace. For each friend you invite to join you can earn one of three badges; Send in 5 friends and get the "Amused by Doggyspace!" badge, send in 10 friends and get the "Loves Doggyspace!" badge, send in 20 plus friends and earn the "Doggyspace Super Fan!" badge.
I Support Doggyspace Badge - This badge is for the dedicated dog lovers that support Doggyspace by giving back to the community they love by keeping a premium membership. We honor these members with this badge because they are going above and beyond to help everyone around the world to have a place like Doggyspace available to their doggies.
The Biz badge is only given to local dog businesses that have joined Doggyspace, not to spam members, but build relationships with customers with word of mouth marketing by offering discounts, making friends, and just keeping the local doggies up to date with current events.
