Alaskan malamute dog pictures
Often the Alaskan Malamute is mistaken for a Siberian Husky, which in fact are totally different breeds. Since the creation of the breed in Alaska it has maintained its use as a sled dog. There are many different colors of Alaskan Malamute ranging from gray, black, sable, red, all with some white or even just all white. Their eyes are just as diverse ranging in various shades of brown. Average weigh ranges 75 to 85 pounds. This breed is very hard to train because of much of their behaviors, such as resourcefulness, have been maintained. Life span is often up to 14 years.
