For Leo and Butkus, Let's Get Rid of the Ticks
Posted on: 19 hours ago
We live in America, a country where no one can agree on anything, gun control, birth control, Benghazi, the IRS, taxes, wars. If someone is for something there is always someone against it. But there is one thing that all dogs and men can agree on. Ticks suck. This week two of our most favorite dogs in the world, Leo and Butkus, both got d

Happy Monday morning! Lots of lightning last night! No need for my howler though- that may come tonight! Try not to worry too much, but we appreciate your concern! Never know what Mother Nature has in store! Dad's one of those people, that once he's awake, he's awake. He does miss me, but understands that I have to make sure Uncle R is ok every morning! Not sure Uncle R would appreciate the extra dogs, BOL! I'm the first one to really capture his heart, and he doesn't share well, BOL! Sorry about bringing up that memory- hope Pocket doesn't remember it! BTW, Meika says Ted Turner should spend some of his money to fix the gap in his teeth and get a better moustache! BOL! Sending you all my

! Have a good start to your week, and we'll try to be here tomorrow- weather permitting! Have a good one, sweet sisters!
And...---"The Spoon!
A man and his wife were in a fancy resturant. While ordering, they noticed that the waiter had a spoon in his shirt pocket, and after looking around, they observed the other waiters and busboys each had a similar spoon. So the husband says, "what's with the spoon?"
The waiter said,"well, we had this company come in and evaluate our time management and they found that people drop their spoon 74.8% more often than any other utensil. So if we carry one with us, we can reduce the trips back to the kitchen by 3 hours per shift.
The husband was impressed. Sure enough, he dropped his spoon during dinner and the waiter replaced it with his, stating, "I'll just get another when I go to the kitchen for something else". While ordering dessert, the husband noted that the waiter had a very thin string hanging from the fly of his pants, as did the other waiters, so the husband asks, " hey, there's a string on your pants". The waiter tells him, " not all my customers are as observant as you... the same company found that we can reduce the amount of time spent in the bathroom by 2 hours each shift if we tie a string around the end of you-know-what, and when we have to go we just unzip and pull it out with the string completely eliminating the need to wash up and saving time." The husband was impressed, but asked, " it's a good idea but how do you get it back in your pants?".
The waiter leaned close and whispered, " well I don't know about the rest of them, but personally I use the spoon."

A marvelous Monday to you! In between rainstorms now, but the worst is yet to come for us! They say we could get 2-3 inches of rain tonight alone! We'll do our best not to make you worry, but you're good friends, so you will worry anyways, BOL! We love you for that! Reese doesn't want to hurt Mackenzie's Mom, just keep her outta the way for you to visit for a while! The twins are still baking, BOL, so Thanks for those prayers, too! We got another email from Charlotte today- she'll be adding Fern to DS when she is 3 mths. old, so soon! Thanks for saying we did good with our tribute, but we couldn't have done it w/o you and all the others who helped! Dad says we'll keep his Indian heritage a secret from Grampy- even though he could out run him, BOL! Uncle R's grammy was the same way as yours! Well, gotta finish my blogs, so Reese can get on and then it's a quick trip outside, if weather permits! Hope your Monday is better than ours! You two be good and stay safe!
((hugs))
to you all!
p.s. I'm like Reese? Time for therapy! BOL!

God Bless you this Sunday! How are you all? And have you smelled the twins lately? BOL! Our twins are still hiding out! Oh, I know Dad's just teasing me! He thinks if I wake him up and then go back to sleep, that I'm being unfair- not really a traitor! He wants me to keep him company in the morning. Guess he likes my company. A letter of reference from a prominent K9 attorney may just be the ticket Dad needs to land a job- Thanks! BOL- if he was dog-catcher, we'd have a bigger family, believe that! He'd drop all the stray doggies here at home and go get more! Not sure the landlord would approve! BMBO! Not sure what to make of the impending storms- 1 minute we're gonna get bad stuff, the next just spotty rain! Wish the weathermen would go on strike! Dad would be a good censor, but he'd be checking my blogs to you a lot, BOL! I'm sorry, I didn't realize that joke brought up memories of you and Pocket- did she get sick on the swing being drunk? Tsk, tsk, tsk. :P ! wishing you all a good Sunday afternoon and night! Here's my

for everyone! And a Sunday Bazinga, too---"A Definite Definition
A teacher decides that she is going to teach her second grade class a new word today. She tells them that the word is "definitely" and its meaning is "absolute, positive, without a doubt."
She asks the class if anyone can think of a sentence with the word in it. She calls on little Susan who is in the back raising her hand, quite sure of herself.
Susan stands up and says, "The sky is definitely blue."
The teacher replies to her, "Well, that's a good sentence but sometimes the sky is gray, and sometimes its cloudy, and sometimes its red and pink so the sky is not definitely blue. Anyone else?"
Tom's hand flies up and she calls on him.
Tom answers, "The water is definitely clear."
"Well, Tom that's a good sentence but sometimes the water is muddy, and sometimes it's green, and sometimes it's full of seaweed so it's not definitely clear. Anyone else?"
Finally, in the far corner, little Robert slowly raises his hand.
"Yes, Robert?" asks the teacher.
"Can I ask a question, teacher?" Robert replies.
"Yes."
"Do farts have lumps?"
"No. Why do you ask."
"Well, then I've definitely pooped in my pants."

Happy Sunday! We got a complaint letter from Ted turner for our "de-colorizing" your pic! He said we're doing it wrong! I say, "Turner-about" is fair play, BOL! We used GC on our old computer for a while, but Dad reverted back to IE when we switched computers last year. I'm sure Reese can keep Mackenzie's Mom occupied for a while, so no worries! We keep seding your prayers onward for the twins, and it must be working, cuz they still haven't made an appearance yet- Thank you! The longer he stays in, the better little Ethan will be. So far, over 30 dogs have posted b/w pix for PJ and his Mum! We got word from her this morning, she came on to DS and was very touched by all of our hardwork! She even posted a journal entry. Makes us feel good to know we all helped her feel better! Wow, Grampy really holds a grudge, doesn't he, BOL! Don't tell him that our Dad's got some Iriquois indian blood in him then! We will hit 90 today, and the storms should start later tonight. We don't know what to think- one minute they say we're in the danger zone, next minute we're not- WTF? Either way, Reese is at the ready! Try not to worry too much, sweet friends- Mother Nature loves to tease!
((hugs))
for all of you this Sunday! Take care and have a wonderful night!

Hi Dear Foley, There’s nothing cuter than a new baby except for many two new babies. BOL Mommy lovees little babies and puppies. Ohh you name it if it’s a new baby my Mommy loves it to bits. As far as the Wellness treats go that was the very reason Mommy got them for me to try. You never hear of anything as far as recalls go with Wellness products. (Well until the biggg kitty food recall). I’m sorry to hear your toofies don’t work too well anymore. I can sympathize as Mommy has parts that don’t work well anymore. Mom and Dad had to go warehouse shopping the other day. She was glancing at the computer prices as she walked by. (She has already gotten an off the cuff quote on replacing her computer from the computer guy) She’s decided that she’s going to stick with him as far as her new one goes. The ones at Sam’s are factory made with no real attention to anything. She’s gotten her last couple of computers from this guy. They last a lott longer (this one is 10 years old) and she’s never had any problems with it until the storm. She feels she’s getting more for her money and she knows who to call if there’s a problem. This guys computer prices are a little more expensive, but you get your moneys worth. Yups Mommy’s old now so she realizes every family’s dysfunctional in some fashion or other. (We can imagine it is difficult when you’re the Mom and it’s your family). But the only way Mom can see not having a dysfunctional l family is to not have a family. It’s all part of life. This is one of the things that Mommy has thought about over the years Everyone has their issues This is why Mommy has decided it’s best to just let her sister live her life and Mommy live hers. At this point in Mommy’s life she just can’t afford the effort, emotional stress, and drama that go with her sister. Everyone needs to do what’s best for them. It was best that Mommy step out of all the stress that goes with trying to have a relationship with her sister. That was a tough call for my Mom to make. It’s still hard sometimes, but Mommy is a lot happier person without the stress that goes with dealing with someone with extreme emotional issues. Your Mommy needs to do what’s best for her. That’s something that only your Mom can figure out. In the mean time you and Pocket and Daddy need to give your Mom extra love. Lot’s of weenie, hugzz, kisses and biggg prayers coming to you and your family dear Foley, Love, Molly and my Mom

Happy weekend to you all!
(((HUGS))) and
, too! Dad calls me a traitor sometimes when I do my morning routine! What can I say, he's up, he knows how to type, and I do make myself available when he gets to answering my blogs on DS, so what's the problem? BOL! Rest assured, Dad would apply for dog-catcher right now, if he could! He just wouldn't do the job very well, BOL! Thanks again for the encouragement; he really appreciates it! We are a little cloudy, but we're having good weather today- should be breezy and 85. Tomorrow we could hit 90, which is why we're under the gun for severe weather starting Sunday night through Wed. morning! They say on the Weather Channel we could have a major tornado outbreak in the midwest- woo hoo! I've been practicing my howling already! Gotta wonder about those censors, BOL! Maybe they like my Bazingas, too! Well, here's one for you and them to enjoy! Be good and stay safe!---"Hey...Can Ya Give Me A Push?
A man is in bed with his wife when there is a knock at the door. He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it's 3:30 in the morning. "I'm not getting out of bed at this time," he thinks, and rolls over.
Then a louder knock follows. "Aren't you going to answer that?" says his wife. So he drags himself out of bed and goes downstairs. He opens the door and there is a man standing on the porch. It didn't take the homeowner long to realize the man was drunk.
"Hi there," slurs the stranger. "Can you give me a push??"
"No, get lost! It's half past three. I was in bed," says the man and he slams the door. He goes back up to bed and tells his wife what happened and she says, "That wasn't very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to pick the kids up from the babysitter and you had to knock on that man's house to get us started again? What would have happened if he'd told us to get lost?"
"But the guy was drunk," says the husband. "It doesn't matter," says the wife. "He needs our help and it would be the Christian thing to help him."
So the husband gets out of bed again, gets dressed, and goes downstairs. He opens the front door, and not being able to see the stranger anywhere he shouts, "Hey, do you still want a push?" And he hears a voice cry out, "Yeah, please." So, still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, "Where are you?"
And the drunk replies, "Over here, on the swing."

Hi! Fine, we'll take credit for de-colorizing you two, but you get the credit for being so darn cute- how's that? BOL! Dad uses IE& I think, but we have Google Chrome on our computer, too. That's ok, Reese is 1 of those freaky "sit on you til I get my way" kinda dogs, he can handle Mackenzie's Mom! We got ya covered, sis! actually, the baby boy twin (Ethan) with be air-flighted by helicoptor! Hope he's not scared of heights! Still no news yet, but heard Mommy-to-be is getting restless! Thanks, for your sweet prayers! We heard from Charlotte today! She is busy with lots of new clients for her business and keeping up with Fern. She said she has seen some of the pix and comments here on DS and is very touched by us all! You never know, we may get old, but never mature, right? Especially Reese! Grampy's an old state? How much older can you get than Mass.? It's one of the 13 original colonies, right? BOL! Have a wonderful Saturday! It'll be 85 here! Storms due Sunday night thru Wed. am! Got my Reese alarm in test mode! BOL!

TGIF to my sweet little sisters! Dad may not agree with you about the alarm clock business, BOL! I wake him up, make him do all this work, and then when he's done walking me- I go sleep with my uncle! Poor Dad, he's left alone with the computer. At least he can job hunt in peace! Thanks for all the encouragement! He is getting depressed about his age and the job situation, but he keeps plugging away! Glad you liked the pic Dad sent- we see it on your page, so it worked! Thanks for helping us with this project! Cloudy today, but almost 80! Severe storms coming Mon/Tues., but we should have a good weekend! Hope the same for you! Have a good night and we'll bark with you tomorrow, sweeties!

to each of you, Grampy, too! And here's your Bazinga for today---"African & Russian Ambassadors
The ambassador of a small African nation chanced to visit Russia, and was entertained by his opposite number, the Russian ambassador. For three days, the African ambassador was wined, dined, and generally treated to the best hospitality that Russia had to offer.
On the final day of his visit, the Russian ambassador said "As your stay is coming to an end, it is time for you to play our traditional game, Russian roulette. One of the six chambers of this gun is loaded - you spin the cylinder, point the gun at your head, and pull the trigger."
This phased the African slightly, but he was a proud man of a warrior people, and to show fear would be unthinkable. Both men took their guns, spun, and pulled the triggers.
Both chambers were empty, and both ambassadors breathed a sigh of relief.
The African ambassador was much impressed with the couragous game, and thought hard about the subject before the Russian Ambassador was due to visit his country the next year.
When the visit came, the African ambassador treated the Russian with all hospitality, until the final day of his stay. Leading him to a private room in the palace, the African ambassador spoke "Now it is time for you to sample our game, African roulette". So saying, he led the Russian into the room, the only occupants of which were six beautiful, naked women.
The African ambassador said "These women are the most beautiful members of one of our tribes. Any one of them will give you a blowjob - take your pick".
The Russian was not entirely averse to this idea, but he couldn't see the connection with Russian Roulette. He said "Well, ok, great, but where's the roulette part? Where's the danger?"
With a big grin on his face, the African ambassador answered:
"One of them's a cannibal"

Hi! Love your b/w pic for PJ! You 2 are so cute! Reese can always sit on Mackenzie's Mom til you finish your visit! BOL! Just name the day, date, and time! Still no new twin news. Trouble is, the boy will have to be air-flighted to a hospital in Ann Arbor, MI right after he is born! He will be 2 1/2 hours away from his Mom and sister for a few days- his Grandma (our cousin WeeChee's mom) will drive to that hospital and stay with him. Thanks for the continued well-wishes and prayers for them! We emailed Charlotte about the b/w pix to honor PJ, but no word back yet. Hope we didn't go too far! Pray she's just busy with work and Fern! Reese jumped up on the new grounds guy this morning and got him muddy, BOL! That'll teach him to take Dad's job! We watched some good movies yesterday, but we all fell asleep, too! Lazy rainy day. today is nicer and almost 80. We should be nicer to Grampy- truthfully, we're about the same age as him, BOL! Have a wonderful day, you 2, and have fun! Bark with you this weekend!

BOl haha yes, we will all miss them. I would prefer not to have stalkers. I'm more of the stand on the side lines kind of guy. I'm a very quiet nice dog. I don't like the cameras and attention. Have a nice night.

OOOOh sweet Foley congrats to you and your family!!! New babies are soooo wonderful!!! Yups my tummy wasn’t too good. My dogtor figured out they were probably bad. They were Wellness treats and they have had a huge recall on their kitty stuff. The dogtor says they were probably run on the same machine and the machine not cleaned properly. OOOh I lveeee BB Basic Chicken. That’s what I’ve eaten since I came to live with my Mom and Dad. That and my BB Wilderness chicken Wild Bites. OMD I’d die without them. Mommy got rid of the gerbils for now. This computer is older than my Mom though so she’s already checked into getting a new one when the computer guy was here. (He’s the one that made this computer for my Mommy. I agree with your assessment of Mother Nature. We need to tread carefully there. She’s one meannnnn Mamma!!! It will take one special puppy for her. OOhh Mom’s computer guy said the Geek Squad wasn’t the way to go He said they really weren’t that knowledgeable and that they take your money. If you have no other options then you’re kind of over a barrel. Mommy agrees with you once again on her computer guy. On top of being really good with computers he’s a nice normal kind of guy BOL you’re one smart cookie Foley. We think every family is messed up in it’s on way as well. Many Many years ago my Mom was thinking about various issues that have come up with people she’s met in her lifetime. She came to the conclusion that there’s no need in trying to determine if people are normal or not. Normal is a fickle term, in that what is normal for some is totally bizarre for another. What is really relevant is whether the person is a nice person or has a good heart. We don’t think you’re twisted Foley, just one smart cookie. We think your sibling has her issues and we think your Mom does well to let her live her life and your Mom live hers. It’s very sad for the children and pets. That’s very sad, to be honest. Mommy has a sister who has some issues. My Mom and her pawrents never saw her ever after she went to college. Then she only came home to bury her and my Mom’s Mother and Father. Mommy has over many years decided that the best thing she can do is to let her sister live her life and Mommy live hers. There is nothing that Mommy can say to her at this point in either of their lives that would be positive and productive. Mom’s sister made her choices in her life. She didn’t get to know her family, and now they are gone. We are the culmination of the choices we’ve made in our lives. Mommy has tried to make choices that have not left her with extreme regrets We think your sister will have a few regrets in her life that may possibly be extreme, as Mommy’s sister probably has. Mommy has no way of knowing for sure as they haven’t communicated since her Mother’s passing. Mommy has decided that there’s a lot of truth in the Good Book. She has had many years to ponder things that have been on her heart. One thing she knows is true, life is very short, and “Do not forsake your friend and your father’s friend, and do not go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother who is far away. Proverbs 27:10 (Mommy’s translation, “It’s best to have dear friends around you as you can’t really count on family in a time of need). Lot’s of weenie kisses and love, along with big prayers coming to you dear Foley, Love, Molly and my Mom

Hey, girls! Sorry you don't get to see Mackenzie, maybe we can get Reese to distract her, so you guys can sneak in and see her! Still nothing on the twin front here, which we hope is still good! The do have an infant heart specialist on standby to take care of the boy, just as soon as he's born! Keepin' those paws crossed. We were glad Charlotte saw some of the heartfelt messages about PJ, too! She just got overwhelmed and sad, so she had to stop. Fern will be a big help- she already got her on DS, and we thought it would be a month or so! Can't wait for us all to welcome her to the group! If we make Reese's pillows, won't people expect them to be stuffed with peanutbutter? BOL! We could use your overseer skills with our new grounds guy here! He doesn't know much yet, but he stole Dad's old job out from under him! Maybe I can get Reese to pee on his shoes! Rain off/on today, so it's a movie day- once Dad finishes up here and job hunting. Grampy's right, times have changed! At least they had banks when he was a kid, BOL!
((hugs))
to him and all of you! Take care and we'll bark with you both soon!
