Hiya all my new Paw Friends! Thank you all for being my new friends and I can't wait to get to know you all!

about me

My name is Frankie and I am a Terrier Mix. The Vet estimated me to be around 2 years old, but I can't quite remember. 


I was rescued by Hound Haven Chicago and then transferred to Dogs Deserve Life in Hampshire IL. I was then placed with a wonderful foster home in Barrington until I found my Forever Home. 


Well on Monday (2/25), I made it to my forever home here in Iowa and I am lovin it! I was lucky enough to have found a very loving new Papa and am starting to settle in nicely.


Many of you might already know my new sister Diva LaVega. She really is a Diva BOL, but she is starting to warm up to me! She just doesn't know what to think but she will see, cuz I am the sweetest thing around since Frosty Paws HEHE. Well that's what my Pa says BOL


I am very pleased to meet you all here on DS, and am very excited to be here and a part of this amazing place!

Well I am back from the Dogter

Hey there Paw Friends! So I went to the Vet this morning. Boy was that an experience! BOL First they stuck a thermometer up my you know what.... burr that was cold. Then listened to my heart and lungs. The Dogter said that she thinks that I do have a small case of Kennel Cough, so she gave me some antibiotics to take care of the respiratory infection. Papa also brought in a stool sampl...

    Our vet said my glaucoma is MANAGEABLE.....I have already lost some eye sight. I have meds for my eye for my eye sight not to get worse but the blue film over my eye is there, mom can see it. Hope those worms get out of you soon! I know it took Pirate a long time to get those worms out too. Hugs and prayers for you little girl! Thanks for your prayers for me too.

    I think Frankie Silver would be a most excellent name for you. She was a powerful known women here in the mountains of NC. Course she might coulda kilt her hubby with an ax. but after most of 2 centuries, we tend to make a heroine of her.

Its so good you went to the vet and got the meds that will help you to get all better.... and once your all better you can play with your sister I bet she wants to play with you too....     Sorry Frankie I didnt mean to call you a boy..... My friend Freddy is a Girl she is Tommy Tunes sister... nothing wrong with being a tomboy my mom isnt a girly girl either.... I sure hope you feel better... Let me know how you make out at the vets ok..... I dont blame you for not wanting to get your sister Diva sick.... Make sure you get some rest and take it easy and when you see the doc he will fix you up....

    Hey Frankie my mom say you are a very handsome boy she says she will nickname you "Blue Eyes" you know Like the other Frank.... but she left the old off of it cause your only 2.... Thats a very cool blue collar you got.... My collar is black and say Bad to the bone on it... No I am not Bad but it was a gift from a dear friend cause my dads rides a motorcycle... No he doesnt ride a Harley he has a Honda Goldwing but they only have stuff made with the Harley logo.... So are you and Diva getting along pretty good... I am sure as long as you let her be the Diva of the house things will work out just fine.... Tell Diva I said hello ok... Hope you have a wonderfulday
