about me

                   My Mission is to Unite, Elevate & Celebrate MUTTS!

I am a GenChan, ok I'm a Mutt but a very special Mutt.  My Mom adores me and loves buying me jewelry and taking me out for a day of beauty but she refuses to dress me up,so far.  I've always been an idea doggy. Over the years it occurred to me that everything was Breed related but there was nothing for those of us who are not considered pure bred.  For instance, I am Terrier, Beagle and Bassett (best guess according to the SPCA in Dallas) (2009 update from DNA test: ChowChow,Akita, Poodle,Whoopszu) which means I am genetically challenged!  YEAH!  It's kind of like being an Ambassador of the World - a little of this and a little of that.  So in 2003 I had a talk with my Mom - told her that I could no longer lie around waiting for her to return from work - that I had a mission.  I wanted to bring all of us genetically challenged dogs together because we deserved to be recognized that we are a Breed Apart.

Doggys and Doggy Parents - Thank you so much

I want to thank all of my doggy friends and their parents who wrote to my Mom and me.  All of your thoughts and prayers are greatly valued. For those of you who did not know, my human Grandmom died last Sunday.  It's been a shocking 3 weeks but my Mom says she's ready to return to the world of the living now and I'm really glad b/c I was in the kennel for 15 days.   W...

    Hi Reba, So good to hear from you. Hope you are well. We are finally getting some good weather. I DO NOT LIKE SNOW!! Mom took me for a ride and we went to a park on Sunday.     Had viruses on both computers, got a new one and others are getting fixed.. Missed DS for 4 days!! We had a great christmas, spent it with Grandma, so twice the presents, hehe.
