3 months of fire season, 9 months of rainy season....

It's been raining for 3 days now. Well, maybe I exaggerate a little. See, three days ago, it started to drizzle...no big deal, right? But the leaves were sticking to my fur with the drizzle, and mommy thought this was funny-i wasn't so easily amused. But we really needed the rain to clear out all the smoke from the fires. I couldn't see Mt. Nebo from my yard anymore and it's only a mile away, woof!
So then the next day came and windy! But the air was clear and I could smell the rain and not the smoke. But there were times I thought it was raining horizontal- then the sun would come out and I could go outside and walk around the puddles in the yard. But today- it just rained and rained and rained...i finally had to go outside soooo bad, and pooped under the trampoline so i would't get wet while I "did the doo".[That's what mommy calls it, 'cause I can poop on command when the need arises].
Anyway, mommy called her friends on he coast and they said the rain had stopped over there, so maybe tommorrow it will be nice and sunny and I can go to the dog park.
Here's to tomorrow...

Hey Cinnamon, Sorry bout all the rain, butcha could send some of it down to North Carolina as we're in what one of the weatermen called "droughtiness" even though I spect there ain't no such word. Hope y'all dry out soon and I'm glad the fire season's over fer ya. Bark atcha later.

Hey Cinnamon I know what you mean when it rains, our paws get dirty too and they have to be wiped, but we really need the rain here, we are in a severe drought right now.

yeah, cinnamon it was rainy! I dont like the rain because then I cant go outside, and if I do my paws have to be wiped before I can come inside. I hate that. -.-
