No aggressive type large breed dogs allowed??
Mommy was looking at a campground to go to this summer. But they don't allow pitbulls, rottweilers or other aggressive type large dog breeds. What the heck is that supposed to mean? Seriously all dogs have teeth and can bite, but mom and I agree it's how they are raised. Not all dogs are friendly toward each other, but that doesn't mean just large dogs. There can be some mean little dogs too. Since I'm a shepherd does that mean I'm not allowed. Alot of shepherds are k-9 officers and are specially trained to attack but only under command and then go home and be the best family pet there is. I'm the sweetest girl there is and love all dogs big and small. I'm so tired of the stereotyping. People can be so ignorant. Needless to say mom's not going to call the campground cause she is too mad. She might bite them!!!

I know how you feel. We're going camping for a few days this easter, but my humans had to ask around a few places, because me and my brother are wolfdogs. I will admit we're not good around strangers, but we run away from them rather than towards them! Mom even keeps us leashed in public, so I don't see what the big deal is. Us big breeds have as much of a right to go camping with our family as a lab or collie or anyother breed has.

I know what you mean Honey Bear...it's doggy discrimination. You wouldn't want to go to their stinky campground anyway....not if they're that narrow minded.

I know just what you mean, Honey Bear. My dad's sister can't watch me if my parents go away because her home owners insurance prohibits German Shepherds. What's up with that??
