Tips for Those in the Postcard Exchange AND Secret Paws

Hello Everydoggy -

Lots of Paws in my Secret Paws group were concerned that since they are in the postcard exchange and Secret Paws, lots of doggies already know their address.

Here are some sneaky tricks to get your package in the mail AND keep your Secret Paw guessing!

TIP #1

when you send a card or package put your Secret Paws address in both the RETURN ADDRESS spot and the DELIVERY ADDRESS spot. If you do this on packages, it is a good idea to pay the extra dollar or two so that you can track your package, just in case it gets lost.

TIP #2

Ask friends and relatives in other states ifyou can put their return address on your cards and letters. You could use a different address every month if you wanted - that would REALLY keep your Secret Paw guessing!

TIP #3

If you go on vacation, or your friends or relative go on vacation, give them a card to mail from their vacation spot!

TIP #4

Use a mail forwarding service - for example at Christmas time, the post office in the Northpole, Alaska will forward a letter from their postmark & return address for a small fee. Many post offices in other neat locales offer similar services, I will try to do some research and post a list later today!

Use www.hallmark.com to send card and buy gifts online that way they are mailed directly from the company and your address is not required!
