We know a lot of our DS furiends are going to be hit with a lot of snow. Philly, Baltimore, New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Ohio, NJ, Delaware. And many more are having ice storms and some minor snow.
This will be your check in point to let us know how you all are doing so we know you are safe and sound. So all you SNOW DOGS give us your weather reports.
Please be careful everyone. It does not sound good on the Weather Channel and we want to make sure you are all safe and warm.
We will pray that you are all safe during all of this and in our thoughts.
Now you SNOW DOGS.......we know this is your kind of weather but yet play but be safe.
My final snow update for the night....OK we have at least 10 inches...the snow is so high I can't get out my doggy-door!!! I hope everyone has a safe night!!!
They just showed a preview for the news and showed one of the main roads leading into the city (Pittsburgh) I-376 aka the Parkway and the cars are at a total standstill on it. We are getting hit pretty hard - it looks like about another 3 inches have fallen since we shoveled an hour ago. Im glad someone was able to help Mia's mom get home to her.
Our poor Mia, her mommy could not make it all the way home. Her mommy's car got stuck in the snow and someone had to give her a ride home. She reported that there are so many cars stuck on the side of the road. Said power is going on and off....transformers blown up all over the place......they are in the burgh area.....so all you burgh dogs be safe......
We just heard that Maggie Valley NC had a landslide....we hope none of our DS friends are in that area...........If you are we are praying you all are okay...........
We know Tyson our daddy is still around but being over the road he is never here and when he is it doesn't snow but go figure the day he leaves the snow comes...........
Oh WOW you all are really getting hammered hard. You have to admit it is pretty exciting isn't it......BOL.....But you know you all better find the daddy's and get them out from in front of the tv and hand them a shovel.....I swear our neighbors must think mommy is single because she is out there all the time shoveling.....We are watching the weather channel and they said some are having light flickering so that must be you Charlie......
Well this is the first year mom doesn't have to shovel, her two nephews will do it for room and board, ha ha! In the past our dad would always schedule or stay out of town until spring time, avoiding all the snow. Now he's out of town permanently never to be seen again, we miss him but not mom BOL. Everyone please be careful, stay inside, and cuddle cuddle cuddle!
Update from Pennsylvania....we now have about 6 inches of snow and it's still falling fast and heavy!!! All of the trees in my yard are heavy with snow and the branches are touching the ground...Our power has flickered a couple of times so we have our paws crossed that it doesn't go out...Mom has plenty of candles and flashlights ready just in case! I hope everyone has a great night...stay safe and warm my friends!!!
We just shoveled again and mom put a yardstick in the snow and it measured 10 inches - 3 hours ago, there was only 2 or 3 inches! I'm in Southwestern Pa about 40 mins from Pittsburgh. There is a firetruck on my street b/c branches are coming down on the wires from the heavy snow. The firemen are cutting down the branches. My daddy has been out on accident calls all night with his fire department. Stay home and stay safe everyone!
Hey Max - my Mom laughed at that too. Last snow storm up here in Maine - snow blowers and shovels all had woman at the other end. Mom and her neighbor were laughing about not having husbands to do that in a storm and then Mom drove to the grocery store and had to laugh even more because there wasn't a man in sight - just woman. BOL!
