DS What does it Mean to you. What is the true meaning.......

We have one thing to say.......well maybe more then one thing........
We love DS and this is the best place we ever found. How no one can not like it here is beyond us. What other place can you go to where you have a Cheer Up Champaign that will cheer you up from the loss of your furkid to health issues, to caring about your own family members. A place to Rest your Rainbow Bridge Babies and have a candle lit for them. A place where you have such loving people and doggy's that will Pay It Forward to help one another in need to get the medical treatment for your beloved furkid so they can get the medical treatment they need. A place where they will help you with food for your beloved furkid if you need it. A place where so many will pray for you when you need it the most. That open their hearts to a needy dog at a Resuce that needs it. That can share the places where everyone lives through exchanging postcards. That are there for moral support. To exchange ideas regarding our furkids. That has a secret paws to make it fun to send each other gifts. Working together to saving dogs and giving them a second chance in life. We laugh together we cry together through the good times and the bad times.
To us DS has grown so much since we joined in August of 2008. DS has not changed. If anything it has gotten better. It just hurts us to hear some say that this is not a fun place anymore that it has changed. It has not change one bit. It has grown into a loving and caring community.
If you know a more loving community you let us know because we have never come across one. Because we don't think another one like this exist.
Yes we have drama here once in a while. But I think everyone has a little drama in their own life and this is no different. Yes we want it to be drama free but like anything nothing is drama free. I think drama starts when you are just trying to protect someone from getting hurt and we want to protect each other. Dogs do that you know they protect the ones they love.
DS is a loving community and if someone tells you different then its their choice to think that way.
We have people here that we have never met before and they will open their hearts to you and that is love, support, compasion, friendship and FAMILY.
We love you and we will always have your back as long as you are honest with us and would never hurt us in any way. Family does not hurt family members and you are part of our family.

You have put the true meaning of Doggyspace in wonderful words. Thank you for doing that. We came to Doggyspace thinking it was just something silly and BOY did we find out what an amazing place it is. FUN TEARS LOVE COMFORT GIVING many many things. We totally love it here. Well said. We are receipients of many of the wonderful things that DS offers and we are so grateful for the love and support found here. Beautiful post Min Pins! This has been such a wonderful community to be a part of and the number one thing that makes Doggyspace so special to me is the willingness to help out a person in need...regardless of race, religion, or social standing, we are here for each other to offer love and support whether it be with a kind word of encouragement, prayer, or even a chip in donation...for this I am thankful to be a part of the DS family!!!

Thanks to my DS buddys and besties. I have a bigger family now. Drama yes but we get thru it and rally and come back better than before the drama.We joined in January of this year and the welcoming commity welcomed me and there is no place like it to me and I dont go on any other site, I love it here. Our Mama has compassion for every pooch here! She totally supports every doggy & family in need and if by chance we are low in funds,(because mama doesn't know how to manage money after 61+ years!!) we say extra prayers for them pooches and their families and extra extra prayers for mama!!!

I totally agree here with Hamish McPup! We are family here! there just seems to be a few branches you would like to trim!& burn! from our family tree so it doesn't spread germs or cooties to the rest of us! Now my desire here is to be friends with all the pooches male & female! now the guys, because if I don't like a girl and one of my buddies does, I could push her off on him! And if another dog picks a bone with me, I could run and hide behind my big pals (I mean family!)now them bad branches you just can't trust to watch your back! Am I starting drama?

Great post, Min Pins...everyone here has said exactly what we feel also. Mom was worried on FB as there were a few people who thought the "drama" was too much and weren't planning to stay or maybe just check in occasionally...This is too great a place to leave...as was said, there's always a little drama here and there and as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, so what, we say? Live would be very dull without a LITTLE drama! Mom said on FB that we will NEVER leave here and if we had to choose between here and FB, DS would win, hands down!!! We love you all!
When we came here first, we came as foreigners and all of you has shown us a lovely, truthful friends ( 2 and 4 legged)and all of you gave us the most warm welcome we could ask for. We certainly don't know of a more loving community than DS, you all have helped us thru so much, most recently losing uncle sparky, we have been reading the comments left for uncle sparky to grandma and it has made here smile and comforted her, she saids that sparky is at the bridge and he is a fur angel. This place has given us so much to laugh about and smile at and to truly help one another. We love DS and even though we fall off the DS grid once in a while we always come back and we always will. We still love DS, but sometimes the drama gets to be too much. And you're right - it is a wonderful place. We've thought of leaving a couple of times, but we're gonna stay around and enjoy the friendship.
