Hey guys. I'm having a bit of a problem. I don't seem to like my doggy food as much anymore. I will eat though. It takes me a long time to eat the doggy food my mommy gives me. She thought I just got tired of the Science diet she is giving me. I eat the soft and the hard, but really like the soft. I'm driving my mom crazy. She even went out a bought all this food thinking I was going to like it but didn't. Waste of money. Anyway I love chicken and everytime she cooks chicken for dinner, which is a lot because she doesn't eat beef or pork, I go crazy just smellin it. When she gives it to me I gulf it all up. Can't get enough. My mom is worried that I won't want the doggy food anymore. Maybe I'm just getting fussy cause I'm getting older, I don't know. Anyway, if someone has any ideas about what to feed me or what food is tasty, please let my mommy know! Word of advice, I don't really care for the hard stuff although I've had it since birth. hey Zach when i was a puppy my mom had to hand feed me to get me to eat..so here are some things she has tried that seems to work.. 1. put water in my food/drain after a min or two, just to soften. 2. make hard boiled eggs, dice them up and put them in my food 3. pea's 4. shredded cheese but a year ago we started buying a dog food called "Premuium Edge" you can only buy it at certain pet stores, so you may have to search online for a store near you! but i love it, she no longer softens it or puts any snacks in there.. and i'd never miss a meal now!!

Hi Zach. I hate ALL dog food. The only time I eat it is when my daddy's away and I know my mom's not going to share her food. Maybe your mom can mix your hard and soft dog food with rice sometimes. That's pretty good.

Hey Zach! I totally know what you mean by not liking certain dog food. My mommy bought me a brand of dog food when she first got me. I liked it for a while then one day I wouldn't eat it. It was just the dry stuff. She got worried something was wrong. Then someone at her work told her to mix the wet stuff with it....I loved it!! The stuff she buys is called Nature's Variety - Instinct. It's grain free. They have the dry and canned food. Mommy doesn't give me people food. She started to give me apples and liked them for a while, but then stopped eating them. I really like the canned food ! Hope that helps:) Jake

Hey Zach, I don't like my hard doggy food too much either - and I'm only 5! My mom sprinkles some parmeasean (sorry not a good speller!) cheese on it and then I gobble it up. Or sometiems she gets one of my little treats and mashes it in the food processor and mixes a little with my food and I gobble it up, or if she thinks I need a little extra fiber (I tend to have anal gland issues, I know, TMI!) she puts some shredded wheat on my dry food. Whew, that was a lot of ideas for you and your mom, but I like my food when she does these things; if not I just stare at it. Hope it helps! xo Holly
