The neighbor kids threw an old deflated soccer ball into our fenced-in yard yesterday. I've got a cracked paw pad on my front paw and I've been licking it for 2 days straight now. It's a clean slice, relatively small... and a common injury among dogs (especially in the winter time). --> Here's a good article about cracked paw pads. It's more of a nuisance than anything. I much prefer getting baths in the summertime -- because we get to do it outdoors, using the hose.But in the winter, I'm stuck in a bathtub! And I'm a big dog, so there's not much room for me to move. And when I "shake" I toss water all over the room! Plus, I tend to slip & slide a bit on that slick bathtub.
