about meHi there. My name is Mia. I am 10 year old English Bulldog. I am also a survivor!
I started off a hardknock life and at about 2 years old I was found a stray with eye problems, loaded with ticks, bad skin and hair, and a fresh scar from a c-section. I was being used to produce litters. I'm not sure if I escaped or was dumped off but lived the hot streets of Miami, FL starving until picked up by the pound. Facing Euthanasia, a bulldog rescue saved me and took me in where I received the care and surgery I needed. Shortly later, I was adopted and came home to my Forever Home to celebrate my 'first' Christmas (and my first snow!). That was 8 years ago! I've been spoiled rotten since and living a life I could only dream of before.
Less than 6 months ago I was diagnosed with mammary cancer. I have a very aggressive high grade malignancy. Luckily Mom found a lump very early on. I've had two tumors removed and am on a second protocol of chemotherapy. As I earlier said, I am a survivor and intend to beat this too!
Just a few of my Accomplishments or Talents:
1. Traveled 22 states and lived in 4 (Florida, Ohio, Kansas, and now Pennsylvania)
2. Have an internal alarm clock and know when it is Breakfast and Dinnertime
3. Great Dancer; I have a wiggle, a jiggle, and a shake like none other
4. Won first prize in several costume contests and qualified for a pageant
5. Have my Mom and Dad wrapped around my paw (and my Grandmas too)!

Hi Friends! It has been over a month since my 10th Birthday Party! Mom has been too busy taking care of me and didn't have time until now to help me upload some pictures. Hey Mia...Hope you are feeling OK! My dad said that the best place for the stickers would be on all doors to your house and if there is a certain room that you stay in ~ mom and dad should put stickers on the window(s) to that room. This was a sad thing that happened, but it has made all us Doggyspacers think about what would happen if our house caught on fire. Maybe this situation will end up saving one of our lives by making our moms and dads be prepared!

Hello Mia, I hope all is well and that you are feeling a lot better. I know that you have not been feeling your best. I know what that is like to not feel your best. You have to continue to fight to feel better, our prayers will be with you and we will have you in our thoughts. I think that you look like me, we have the same coloring you just have a little more white than I do. We are just beautiful girls don't think, my mommy thinks that we are absolutely adorable. Oh Mia! what a wonderful life you have. Now that is what I want here with my mom and brother Prince. I must admit us Bulldogs are so adorable ! I too almost have mom wrap around my paws! she is always hugging on me and saying Precious you are an Angel! now my brother on the other paw might not quite agree with that, but ask me if I care. No! Glad we are friends ! mom said, your parents are extra special for all the love and attention they give you and taking you in when they did.
