about meGreetings from Tennessee! My name is Betsy - but my nicknames are Boo - and sometimes Betsy Boo or Betsy Lou! And sometimes even Boo Boo! I'm pretty smart 'cause I answer to them all! And if there's food involved I'll answer to anything you want!!!! I'm a beagle/jack russell/maybe Boston mix - I don't really know for sure but a lot of people have tried to guess!!! My family rescued me about 6 yrs ago from a rescue shelter - my mommy went there looking for another dog but he'd just gotten adopted 5 min. before they got there - I was the only dog left for the day who hadn't gotten a home. I was sitting there looking so sad and my "to be mommy" just couldn't stand it - she ended up taking me home on a foster trial basis. Well, after 3 weeks they loved me back to society and decided to keep me. (I was rescued from an abusive situation). I love to eat even though I have some digestive problems - my humans are very careful about what I eat. I also love to bounce and when anyone goes for my food pail I bounce all up and down 'til I get fed!!! I like to go for walks and watch outside for anyone passing by. I don't like car rides, baths, or getting flea stuff put on. It just makes me nervous - I don't know why!!! I have 2 brothers - rescue boys too! Roscoe and Peanut are also on this cool web site - we get along pretty well and are just grateful to have a good home and humans that love us!!! Well, that's about all I have to say right now. Hi all my doggyfriends! I've got great news! My mommy finally found a food that is agreeing with me!!!!!!!!!! I finally gained just a little weight, my coat is getting shiny again, and I haven't even urped in quite a while! Yup - I'm a very happy girl these days!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Betsy! Yea, you gots a lotta beagle in you. I can relate to you. I'm ALWAYS hungry. I have a built-in clock, and every hour I mosey over to dad and give him my sad, starving puppy look, and he looks into my eyes and reads my mind and gets me a treat. Then he says "Yur gonna git fat!", but I never do...sumpin' about my metablowbism I've heard. Well, Betsy, be thankful for raggamuffin. It's really great to have a pal to play with, or just be there with you. My pal Laddi left us and as dad says "You don't know what ya gots til ya lose it". See ya later pal!

Betsy, You are a very pretty girl. I like your colors, they remind me of my brother Bo. He is at the Rainbow Bridge now but he was black and white like you!! You are lucky to have so many siblings, sometimes I get lonely being the only dog in the house but my mommy takes me to day play and I get to play with all the doggies there while she is at work. It is a lot of fun and I sleep good at night on my pillow next to mommy's bed. She wants me to sleep up on the bed with her but when she moves it wakes me up and I growl at her. I don't like to be woke up when I am sleeping. It's ok if I wake her up though. Well, have a great weekend!!

He Betsy. Your coloring may be different but your body sure says hound. You look an awful lot like me and so you are quite handsome. It was meant to be that you are where you are. Sometimes the doggie angels just need to adjust the human thinking a bit as well as make sure they arrive at the right time for you. Thank you for inviting me to your friends list.

Hi Betsy! Thanks for the invite! Looks like we are both lucky dogs. I was rescued by Robin from Small Paws, they are a big Bichon rescue group. But Robin saw me at a vet and I was only 8 weeks old had had been hit or something because I pooed in the house and bit the bad man when he hit me. Robin was my angel. She told a group of us Lhasa folks what happened and Mommy and Daddy adopted me, because they wanted a sister for Megan. That's how I came here. And I am a happy girl. Mommy and Daddy says I always smile, and I am a people girl. Yep... we are lucky dogs.

Hi Betsy! Thank you for being my friend. I have allergy problems too. It's not fun, is it!?!! Mommy give me special foods, but we think, it's not only that but something outside. In the spring and fall, I get so bad.. some of my hair falls out, even if I take pills. We are still trying to figure it out. Hang in there!

I hope the food works for You. Mommy thought that I might have a wheat allergy. She made me these really good dog cookies one time and I loved them. My belly did not like them. They had wheat flour and wheat germ in them. Someone at Petsmart suggested Nature's Recipe because it contains no wheat or corn. I really like the food because it is Venison flavor. Yum. They also have yummy wet food too.

You are so cute. I am happy that you found a good home like I did. I have belly issues too and now I eat Nature's Recipe food(At Petsmart) and no more belly problems. Certain treats upset my belly and my mommy will have to give me a Pepcid AC which work great. Thanks for being doggy friends. Woof.
