Snuggles came to live with us late last year and used to live with my Granny in Kerrville, Texas. I was born the day after Christmas, just like my Mom! When Mom was filling out my paperwork when arranging me to come home with her,
she still wasn't sure about it, but when she saw my birthdate, she knew it was fate that brought us together!"
"I'm a really good boy, although Mom might disagree with me at times! I have my Canine Good Citizen Award to prove it...although I don't always 'pretend' to remember what I'm supposed to do. She says I'm way too intelligent for my (and her) own good. I can get my toys out of spots that they aren't supposed to be, although I like to fuss and try to get her to get it for me...she always makes me do it myself!"
"I am really mischevious and have gotten out of my kennel, leap the baby gates in a single bound, open up zippers, trash cans with lids, Mom's wallet (hey a guy's got to have spending money) child proof medicine bottles just to name a few. I even got into some Tequila one day when Mom dropped the bottle on the floor. I really didn't feel good after that, so now I sniff liquids before I taste them! Our Auntie Melissa calls me and Snuggles Frank & Jesse after the James brothers! She says we remind her of two little outlaws!"
"I don't like Mom being on Computer...I tried to break it one day by jumping on the keyboard, but she still uses it anyway!
"I love my toys, and I have a lot. I take them all out of the toybox after Mom picks them up. I allow Mom and Snuggles to sleep with me, and I let Mom drive my car. If she'd let me, I'd really try it, but she won't. I love to wrestle with Snuggles and ambush him while he is chasing me. When I get tired, I go to my 'office', where I rest up for the next round! I love laying on Mom's lap and on the weekend, cuddling up next to her on the big pillow! I don't like thunder and loud noises...and I'm scared of my own toots!"
Snuggles says:
"Hi, my name is Snuggles. I'm 6 years old. I'm the cute little one with floppy ears! I was born in March, and my registered name is Sir Snuggles March Madness! Mommy Cynthia, as I knew her then, brought me to live with my Mommy (Chance's Granny) when I was 6 weeks old. I loved my Mommy very, very much. I love Mommy Cynthia and Chance too! Mommy told Mommy Cynthia that when I found out she and Chance were coming to see me, I'd wait by the back door for them! I couldn't wait to give Mommy Cynthia kisses and play non stop with Chance. Last fall, Mommy got really sick, and we had to go live with Mommy Cynthia and Chance. Then I got really sick too, and I had to have surgery. Mommy Cynthia took care of me and got me all well again, but I was worried about my Mommy. This Spring, my Mommy went to heaven. I really was sad and missed her, and I would lay on her pillow waiting for her to come
back. I didn't understand why she wasn't coming home. I started wondering what was going to happen to me. Mommy Cynthia told me that she loved me and that she promised my Mommy she and Chance would take care of me. So now Mommy Cynthia is just Mommy and I love her just as much as my original Mommy and I love living in Austin!"
"Chance is a really good teacher. He's teaching me how to be a lookout while he is getting into trouble! All I have to do is bark when Mommy is coming and then act cute and innocent. I told Chance though I think Mommy has caught on! Chance also taught me how to put my paw on this little lever and the lid on the trash can in the bathroom opens up...it's cool! I got caught with my nose in it though by Mommy and she scolded both of us for it. Now there's something on top of the lid and it doesn't open for me! I'm learning how to talk like Chance as well."
"My favorite thing in the entire world is having my tummy rubbed. I'll also jump up on Mommy and give her big ol' hugs! She says I'm getting a personality...whatever that is, but it must be good because she tells me I'm her sweet pea and calls me her little Snug Bug! I don't like motorcyles, fireworks, thunderstorms and that darn vacuum cleaner. I'm also scared of my own toots!"

Our Secret Paw is PAWSOME!!! We've received a card, email and a package in the mail this weekend with cool presents in it!!! We absolutely love to open stuff!!! Mommy let us open the packages in the box, and Chance even pulled all the stuffing out of the box as well! We LOVE the Santa...we play tug o war with it all the time! We also love the bobo and the ot...

Rats! I thought I had my SP thing figured out. Snow in Austin? WOW! I remember when it snowed in Dallas everybody's sprinklers still went off regularly. It was the only way the streets would get icy!
