about meI'm a lab/shepard mix (with a little rottie in me). I think I am about 7 years old. I started out with an older woman in southern Illinois and was turned over to a shelter. I was brought to Animal House Shelter in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I was adopted by my family...mom Jamie, dad Angelo, sisters-mom's kids - Lindsey (my best friend) and Paige ("the girl")...and sisters Traci and Gina -dad's kids. They all love me!!! I'm lucky because I am both mom and dad's kid!!!
I am not a big lover of other animals but I am getting better...you see, I am King of the block!!! I love my stuff, my house, being pet, my car ( I love my car), going to see the ladies at the bank in MY car, eating sticks, meditating on the death of all squirrels, and other deep stuff. Most of all I love treats, walks, laying by and watching out the window and of course, taking naps!!!
I like all people and I do have a few neighbor friends, Bosco, a chocolate lab and Molly, a retriever. There are a few cats that wonder the neighborhood that I DO NOT like, as well as, that stupid skunk that sprayed me twice a few years back - and seems to have returned to the neighborhood!!! My biggest fear besides getting a bath and getting sprayed again by a skunk, is BIG RED our vacuum cleaner. I hate BIG RED!!!! Mom always warns me before she turns it on so I can go to my safe place and hide!!
Who I'd Like to Meet: Lassie, Air Bud, that dog from Fraiser, Astro from the Jetson's and of course Scooby Doo!!!

Ciao Dennis here everything good...Mom say thx for your B-Day greetings..(^O^)...With my sis Wasabi is going everyday better...We play a lot together..Only sometimes she bother me 'cause I wanna relax and she wanna play...But I can understand that she's still little so...I start to play again(^O^)...The weather in last days was horrible..dad wasn't able to go to work 'cause many streets was closed by police 'cause too much dangerous for peoples...Also Tevere river almost overflow...Now no rain but the weather isn't good still...Anyway wanna wish you a wonderful weekend...Ciao-Bau...Benji

Hi Dennis, thanks for being my friend. I love to play with sticks too. When I am outside I would rather play with a stick than any of my toys. I have several nice big ones that I found nd I take turns playing with them. I like to play keep away and make my mom chase me while I run with my stick. Bark at ya later.

Hi Dennis - Thanks for being our friend! We have a lot of dogs like you at my house. Right now we have about 130 and puppy season is coming soon so we will have lots of puppies in the next few months! I know it is hard at first to get used to being around other dogs. I was that way too. I hope I find my forever home soon, but right now I am happy as they take good care of me here and I eat really well! Nice to meet you! Lil Bit ( I'm the one in the profile photo)

Those pesky squirrels are always down at the birdfeeder that mom and dad have in the backyard. I think they come down just to tease us! Grrr! To make matters worse, not only do we have squirrels during the day, but we have different ones at night! Yep, it's true...around 9:00 every night a couple of flying squirrels come to the same feeder! It's like a conspiracy to drive us crazy!
