about me

Hi! My name is Katie Davidson. I am a five year old Sheltie from Kansas.  My sister helped me join this site because she works at company that works with the internet. I am very excited to meet other Shelties since i don't really get to meet doggies like me.  My favorite activities include working in the garden, barking at anything outside my window, sleeping in people beds, stiting on my air conditioning vents, playing with and eating snow and watching KU on TV. I live in the country, so I get to bark at lots of animals.  I especially like to bark at rabbits, squrrils, hawks, vultures and of course DEER. I am an only doggie child, but I get to see my niece Koda (lab mix) a couple times a week. I have a boyfriend named Beamer who lives next door. i love to run over and see him. He is very big! One special trick I can do is that I can ring a doggie door bell to tell people I need to go outside.

Pet Freindly Florida Vacation

Hey ,I found a great place to vacation!!  My doggie cousin Briscoe's parents own a  beach rental place near Clearwater, Florida.  It is right on the beach and is sooo beautful.     I know what you mean. Jayhawks aren't loved too much around here either. But that doesn't apply to doggie friends. Plus, even though my Mom's a Mizzou fan now, she didn't go to school there so she doesn't have quite the same feelings toward the rivalries.

    Katie, We had a HUGE visitor last nite. Mum took me outside for my last pee break and there was something really big sitting on the bench by the koi pond. Mum walked over to check it out and it was one of those large (eatin' frog legs type) bull frogs. Scared us both when he jumped behind a rock. Whew, it's sure scary outside @ after dark! I'm glad I don't have to spend my nites out there. Stay safe!! Shiloh
