blurbI am now at the bridge looking down over my momma and KHAN and puppy. I was not ready to come just yet, but life is full of surprizes. I trusted the wrong person and went like a lamb and before i knew it I was here. This is a nice place though and I was welcomed here by many old friends including my sister zafaria. So I am not bitter anymore as I know I will see my momma again someday. the rest of my story i will leave on for those who didnt know how i came to live with momma.
I am a tenessee mountain cur with a little plott hound mixed in for good measure. mountain cur is not on the ds breed list. i know cause momma looked.
. I am very noble and aloof, but loveable. my momma says so.
about meI was in a high kill shelter in north carolina. it was small and dirty and i hid under the bench for many weeks. My rescue lady had to drag me out. I was skin and bones and had 1 ear cut off. I had worms and heartworm and was just miserable. But that was last year, and now I am healty and huge and shiny and my momma tells me I am the most handsome dog in them world. She has to say that cause she's by momma, but I am really attractive I know. I live with Puppy, a girl dog and she loves be too. I have lots of friends that come and go as my momma runs a rescue cause God knows that a lot of dogs need help down here in the south where there are no laws to protect dogs from cruelty, and people are really dumb about the right way to treat a dog. I was one of the lucky ones to find a forever home so I don't mind sharing mine with some poor scared dogs for a little while, until they find a forever home.

so sorry you had a bad life before find you forever home and you didn't get to stay here long but we know you are happy there with all the others at the bridge, we feel safe knowing that we willhave so many friends to welcome us when our time comes, not for along time mom says if there is anything she can do about it. we are glad to hear from those angels up there and know you all are watching over us to make sure we are ok thank you for being there for us, and for being my new friend and peaches too.
