I am a Treeing Feist, which is a breed of dogs known for hunting squirrel. I love chasing squirrels, but I mostly love being spoiled to death by my master! There is no life quite like a lazy man's hunting dog! I get to explore the farm I live on daily as well as get the occasional ride in the truck! Dog bones, hot dogs, and cheese are among my favorite foods. No leases or walks around the park here...I have pastures to explore and cows to bark at.
I am two years old and was bred by a friend of my Masters. I have a pesky little sister (from a different litter, but same Mom and Dad) that I have to put up with. Oh, she is ok to pounce on now and then, but she simply does not have the intelligence I do!

Dad has been trying to walk off those extra Christmas pounds, so he has been taking us for long walks in some woods down beyond the pasture. Boy, has it been fun! We can run without worrying about a car and we see things like lots of SQUIRRELS!! I treed TWO the other day! Coco doesn't understand the whole treeing thing, but she has fun running around. It's been SO&nbs...

Thank you for being my friend Nipper. Mom and I didn't know that there were special dogs to chase squirrels...that's cool! I use to love to chase them too. Watching over you from the Rainbow Bridge.

Well, thank you very much Nipper. Our Mama tries to keep us looking good. The rest is God's work. We can't take credit for that. So tell us about yourself. How did your breed get started? We are very interested. A farm. We would love to live on a farm, but we feel very blessed where we are. We have a very nice home, and a very nice dog room. Yes, we have our very own room complete with computer and TV set. We have a fenced in back yard to keep us safe too. Bark at ya later, paw pal.

Thanks for the gift of the sweeky, Nipper. And thank your mom for all of the work that she did for the Where in the World is Santa Doggy quiz. It was a lot of fun. I'm just sorry that my mom missed some of them when she was at work. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy holiday. Puppy hugs and kisses, Boudica

Wow, you're so smart. I looked at your quizez. Your breed must have super brain power. I think I might have some of your breed in me because I love the squirrel chase. I'm going to keep checking back on your journal and see if my smart brother Bruiser can catch one before it's answered and figure it out. You're really handsome too, we love your name. Cocoa is precious too. Of course our brother Trigger knows Ginger at the Bridge. What a wonderful doggy Ginger is. Well I'm sending you some huge Holiday Hugs to you and your lovely family!

Hi Nipper. So nice to meet you. I have never heard of your breed of dog. My Mom spent most of her adult life in Northern Virginia. She raised her kids there. One of her sons still lives in Fairfax. Her other son is in the Air Force and is stationed in OH. Both boys went to University in Virginia. Paul is a graduate of VA Tech. Michael graduated from Radford. You sound like you have a wonderful place to live and the freedom to run. Gee I would love to be able to do that. Sorry for the recent passing of Ginger. Have a happy holiday and thanks for being my friend.
Hi Nipper! So, you live the life of freedom. I have a big back yard, but it's fenced. No cows, but an occasional snake, rabbit, possum or armadillo stops by. And, of course the birds and squirrels. I used to chase em, but gave up cuz I NEVER came close. I'm more of an inside pet. Have fun, but take it easy on Coco! Yur new pal, Tommy
