about meHi. My name is Koda. I was rescued by my mom when I was 7 weeks old. I am a chocolate lab/golden retriever . Mom named me Koda, because she said I looked like a little brown kodiak bear. I also answer to Sugar Bear, Sweety Boy, Big Hairy, Booger Butt and Little Man. I am very sweet and loving until I get into trouble with my grouchy sister, Josie! I love to run around the yard, dive bomb over the top of the couch, especially if mom is sitting there! Snuggle, get butt scratches, arm scratches, tear the stuffing out of my toys and go for walks. And I love to eat!!!!

Mommy says I am in my “terrible twos”! What are those? She keeps asking me, “What did you do with my sweet boy?” I keep telling mom I am right here!!!! Sophie says it’s because I am being rotten! I hope now that all the holiday stuff is done that mom will sit down and do my doggyspace stuff. tell me what's been going on.During the holidays grandma was here with cousins Molly and Mesha. Molly and I always have fun. We finally met Bentley he came over for a play date. Mystic had to stay in the house cuz she tends to be a grouch like Josie. But Izzy and I had some fun running and playing in the hose with Bentley. I got a new kong for my b-day. mom brought it in and I think she tired to hide it but I knew it was in the bag and I pestered her till she give it to me. Koda my pal! Thanks so much for the Christmas card! How very cool...the dog on the front looks kinda like Chey!! Mom just sent one out to your family yesterday....yes, yesterday...she's such a procrastinator! Hopefully it will be there by Christmas! Oh gosh Koda...that's awful! Mom took yesterday off to put new tires on our truck...she couldn't make it out to Sammy's barn on Tuesday night cause of the ice and...ahem...very bald tires!! HA!! That'll teach her! It's supposed to be bad again tonight and tomrrow morning. Tell her if she gets stuck in Champaign to let me know, she can stay at my house!! We got ripped off on the snow, only an inch...it went more north..BOO!!! You all stay warm and safe...the ice is supposed to be pretty bad. XOXOXO

Koda...tell your mommy to be very careful if she has to travel this afternoon/evening....my mom just looked at the Weather Channel's website and we're under a Winter Storm Advisory from noon until midnight. 2 to 4 inches of snow, blowing and drifting too. Stay warm my friend!
