blurbMy Brother Bruiser has the brains in the family. He's 9 years old and a Dalmatian wannabe. He is starting to wind down some thank goodness. Maybe it is finally going to be my time to shine. The first Family member that Mom everh had was our Asian Leopard Bengal kitty sister, Simba, she's 12 years old now. Our newest family member is Holland Lop bunny brother Bugsy he's 5 months. That pretty much wraps up the fam. I was Mom's wish dog. My sister Windex who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge was a full bred Catahoula Leopard Hound. When Mom lost her, human sister Tami started searching and found me on the Petfinder Site. I'm only part Catahoula but Mom says it's like I have angels in me because I'm so much like sister Windex. When Mom went to pick me up she was shocked because I looked like a St. Bernard pup nothing like a thin tall Catahoula. The man asked you don't want her because Mom gasped. She said no of course I want her but she's huge. She's never been sorry 1 day since that she took that huge St. Bernard looking puppy that was part Catahoula. I'm her "wish" dog.
about meI'm a 7 year old Catahoula Hovawart Mix. I'm quite a girl if I do say so myself. Most of the time I do nothing but meander around the house deciding which bed I want to sleep on or which chair to lie down on to next to Mom. When the storms roll thru you can find me in the shower for hours on end. All of Mom's friends say I have a "forever puppy" face. Mom says I'm the perfect blend to live with my Brother because he is an attention hog and I ask for very little. Most of the time she comes to find me for hugs and kisses. She says I'm very low maintenance, good thing because my Brother Bruiser is very high maintenance. She calls me her Special Angel. I do love to chase a squirrel now and again if given the chance and neighborhood kitties, not my sister Simba of course but the other kitties that roam the neighborhood. I'm glad to be here meeting all of you and hearing your stories.

Oh, thanks Godiva. Yur kiss is makin my boo boo feel better. Dad's gittin the yogurt out now and he promised me MORE than the usual small amount in the bottom. You guys are the GREATEST!
Thanks, Godiva! Yur angel got me thru. I just got back from the vet and Dad immediately gave me some food. I hadn't eaten since 8PM yesterday and all I could think of was FOOD!! I hope the scar heals up OK. See my picture in this journal: http://www.doggyspace.com/journal/25119

It was very exciting. I've never been to Flordia. I bet it's a little warmer where you are then here in NE. I am frozen. Dad gave me a bath last night and wouldn't let me out because i'd freeze. Mom kept my in today. I was kinda naughty in the car ride i get very excited when Semi's are around and big rigs mom and dad weren't very happy with me but i got better on the way home. Ciao my adorable friend Godiva, yes,in that pic, I was kissing Wasabi(*^3^*)..Mom was lucky to get that one isn't???(^O^).. Well finally today no rain...but temperature fall down faster from yesterday night..Now only 1degree here(O_O)...Anyway yesterday night I went to sleep with dad in the meanwhile mom was watching a romantic comedy on Sky-Tv with Wasabi.. Isn't so much comfortable sleep with dad 'cause often he changes his sleepy-position and wakeup me...(~o~)..but is ok..I love dad a lot so..(^O^)...Have a wonderful day my friend!!!Ciao-Bau...Benji

Mommy and Daddy took me to Colorado today. We went through Wyo to get there...it was crazy! I got to see the Mountains (from a distance but still it was closer than before). I haven't seen them since i was born. It was nice to see new places!

I havta go to the vet Tuesday to have a small growth removed from just behind my nose. Dad thinks it's just one of those senior fatty bumps. Well, we hope so. I actually like going to the vet because I LOVE all the attention I git. Dad worries when I havta be put under because of a bad experience he had with one of my brudders. I'm not worried, but I hope you will cross yur paws for me that it is a simple thing. I love you guys!
