blurbHi - my name is Hamish (full name Hamish McPup) and I am 6 years old. I live in Australia. No-one is really sure what breed I am, but there's definitely some terrier, and some poodle judging by my curly coat.
I am a fun loving and energetic dog who loves to play with my stuffed toys - my owner throws them and I bring them them back. Then we wrestle to see who get's hold of it!! Great fun!
I also love chasing bush turkeys off the lawn and out of the garden, and scaring the wallabies on our property.
My favourite food is whatever my owners are having, but they don't share much. They always give me and the cat different food. We tease them by eating each others food!!
I am always tuckered out by the end of the day, and like nothing more than to sleep curled up on the sofa beside my owners as soon as it gets dark.
I am scared of thunderstorms, but that's about it - other than that I am fearless! Although I don't much like the sound of sirens either ...... (see my About Me).
about meI am a rescue dog who was found living in a cemetery in Sydney. The RSPCA think I had been there for a couple of years when they found me because my coat was in a pretty bad state. And I always wake up whenever I hear a siren!
I was originally adopted by a lady called Leigh who took my far away to the country and gave me to her Aunty as a companion. Aunty was really great - she fed me twice a day and always gave me a choice of food!
Unfortunately, I was a bit too much for Aunty to handle, always running around and escaping from the yard, so I went with Leigh to her property. That was great fun too - lots of room to run around, and lots of wildlife and chickens to chase.
Then I got into trouble again when a chicken turned up dead. I swear it wasn't me, but I couldn't be trusted near the chickens, and they were free range chickens, so one of us had to go. Moving again ....
Now I am with a cousin of Leigh's on 30 acres of rainforest and bush, and boy - is this the good life. I am allowed to sleep in the house, there's a cat to chase, I get long walks every day, and there's lot's of work to do keeping the bush turkeys away from the garden and balcony.
And the great thing is - I still get to see Leigh and Aunty!

Mum is still running back and forth to the hospital with her brother. He is now off the life support system, but the Doc's still don't know what caused this in the first place. Mum is beside herself with worry.Well - back off to the hospital again - see you all soon!
