about meI was born in Oklahoma. But I came to Utah when I was ready to be adopted. My mom found me in Salt Lake and we've been in Utah ever since. For a while I lived with my uncle Gunner and played all the time. We even got to play in the snow sometimes. Now I have my little sister Gemini. I even have my own bed, and it was love at first sight. I have all my friends, but my favorites are other daschunds like me.

Hi, Milo! You know what? Moms wanted to adopt a rescue doxie named Milo, but his foster family decided to keep him. Lucky for me, because a month later, moms says she saw me, and fell in love. Milo is a great name, and I am glad that we can be friends. Lots of puppy love, Luka-Boo

Thanks Milo for being my friend! My Mom used to have a wirehaired dachshund who passed away at 13 years old. My Mom was still grieving the loss of her little Drucy when I came along needing to be rescued about 5 months later. My old Mom hated me and was going to send me to a shelter and have me labeled "a biter". I'm afraid my outlook would have been pretty grim if my new Mom hadn't come into the picture and took me in. We have had 5 glorious years together and I know she still misses Drucy, but her heart is so huge for animals that I don't feel like I'm being shortchanged in the least. Thanks for being my friend!
