about me Hi! I'm Cleo, a 7 year old Labrador-Collie cross. I like walks, playing in the lake, and long naps on my dog bed. My people say I have the softest mouth and the biggest heart around. I'm a very gentle girl.
My people found me at a Lab rescue shelter. I was just a couple of hours away from being euthanised when I was liberated from a pound in Ohio. Whew! It was a close call! Now I live in a house in Canada with a big yard so there's lots of space for me to play with my best friends Tex and Zander.
I have lots of responsibilities around here. I have to guard the house and the yard, keep the property safe from rabbits, and catch any mice that find their way into the kitchen. I also clean up any food that happens to fall onto the floor, or that seems to be abandoned on the counter. It's a big job, but someone has to do it! I like good people, little people, and most other dogs. Want to be friends?

Thank you for the friendship requeat I wouldd love being your friend. Our work is never done it is a big responiblity taking care of our two legged friends but the rewards are great. I was resued also, not from a shelter but from my first Daddy he wanted to fight me. I just wanted to make him happy and did not know it was wrong. He left me for days on the front porch and I just waited for him finally my Mom saw I was hungry and took me home and life has been alot better ever since. He never even came looking for me. I'm glad he didn't cause now I have so many great friends on my Doggy Space like you.

Hi Cleo, Everytime my Mommy sees a black dog, she gets sad because she misses my former sister dog, Sky. She got sick and Mommy had to send her to doggie heaven. this happened before I was born. I'm glad she has me to keep her happy. She really loves me to pieces.

Hello Cleo, you are a very pretty girl. You have jobs like me. I watch out the window for Tigger (my neighbor cat) to walk through the yard, I watch for my boy and my mommy and daddy to come home. I have a Puddy cat that catches mice for us, when she isnt laying around and being lazy.

Hello Cleo, It must be cold water up there. I'm a Florida dog, I don't like the water temp under 75 degrees F. But I do love to swim. I like your responsibilities except for the mice thing. down here we got lizards. thanks for being my friend...Missy
