Hi everybody.  Maverick just became my 500th friend!  Thanks so much.  We are busily getting ready for our grande' Easter Egg Hunt here at Rainbow Bridge.  Hope Freddie and I get lots and lots - but we are both kinda small, so we'll have to borrow somebody's wheelbarrow!  Love go all ...... Hi everybody.  I have some new friends at Rainbow Bridge. Mommy helped me write something in my journal.  Don't worry -- they are all fine now and our angel wings are holding them very tightly and our angel kisses are wiping away their little tears.......  Taffy

I am Taffy April - my friends all called me Taffy.  Morena rapidly became my little sister when she arrived even though she outweighed me very very soon!

It is almost Thanksgiving and things are really really busy here at Rainbow Bridge.  Freddie and I are in charge of refreshments!  We are planning Puppy Punch, Pigs in a Blanket, MilkBone chips and dip (not the flea kind) and lots and lots of Ice Cream!  No turkey here - they are planning their own party!  So Happy Thanksgiving to all.  Don't worry, just because we are partying we won't forget to watch over all of our friends, brothers, sisters, mommies and daddies there on Earth.  Love, Taffy

about me

I am a very happy Cocker Spaniel who lived a very full life with my Mommy and lots of kitty and doggy friends.  I originally belonged to a family with several children, but when they got a little older they didn't have time for me, so a friend of my Mommy's asked her if she could take me.  I was 2 years old. All it took was one look and I went home to my forever home. 
I am so pretty and just glowed whenever I went to the beauty shop.  The cute little bows lasted for the trip home, but it was the thought that counted.  I had breast cancer when I was 8 years but had successful surgery.  I was well and happy until I was 12, when I got cancer again and got sick really fast.  Mommy knew that I was not my usual happy self and with the vet's agreement, I made my journey to Rainbow Bridge.  My best friend, Freddie the cat, was very sad when I left as we were really close - look at our pictures.  I only had to wait another couple of years and Freddie came to join me.  We have been paw in paw ever since and have a ball here at the Bridge. 
I look down on my sister, Morena and am glad that she is so well and happy.  Let me tell you, there is no happier home for critters on earth than with my Mommy!  Thanks for stopping by.  I would love to have some new earthly (or angelic) friends.  Luv, Taffy

Freddie has been here 3 years!

Hi Everybody,  My best friend, Freddie has been here at Rainbow Bridge 3 years.  He arrived on March 9, 2006 and we have been inseparable ever since.  I love him so much and I know how much he missed me when I had to leave him.  But, we really do live in the moment, and now it's like we were never apart.  Just look at the pics Mommy posted of me and my buddy - we are both
