blurbHey I am wishbone. I finally got my own doggyspace. i am puppy and brandons brother, and foster brother to crazy rodney. I have been up for adoption but i think mommy loves me so much she may just keep me unless a really special person shows up.
i am quiet and shy and i am just learning how to play and wag my tail. i love to eat...anything. i have my own room. it is purple like in my photo. i can go anywhere in the house but i like my purple room and my purple bed very much!
about mewell a lot of doggy spacers know about me already and have followed my story. i came from a breeder of walker hounds in south carolina. there were hundrends of us all running around. sometimes we ate and sometimes we didnt. we never saw a vet or got even rabies shots. Some of us liked to hunt and were good at it. others like me and my sister peewee were not good at that. we got beat a lot. i guess that was to make us hunt better. it made us scared of men. Finally when we were about a year old he dragged us into his truck and took us out to shoot us. then he decided we were not worth the cost of a bullet so he dragged us in on our bellys to the Humane Society. He told them we did not do our job and he wanted us euthanized and he wanted to watch. he said we did not deserve a 2nd chance. Lucky for us the people at Darlington Humane Society did not do what he wanted. they took care of us for 3 weeks till momma came and got us. we were so skinny and had pressure sores on our hips. we had worms and we were scared to death of everything. stairs,telephones, oh God vacuume cleaners are devils! we were afraid of doorbells, and sirens and any strangers. we were not housebroken and we chewed everything in sight. we figured out how to escape our collars and ran off for 3 days and momma had to spend money on findtoto.com just to get us back safe. we were alot of trouble. pee wee has gone to a foster home but i stayed here. i like it here. i am safe. mommy loves me. i love her. my old owner was a jerk. he is still a jerk, but me, i am safe and healthy and have my very own page on the internet. so all of puppys and brandons friends, write to me too.

mom got like a dozen emails for dogs that will be gassed today. it is so sad but we cant save them all. lots of them were pit bulls. we decided to speak for suga babe. we think she has a sweet face and the pound people say she is good with people and other dogs. so after she is vetted she will come an join our pack next thursday. maybe she will join doggy space as so many of our rescued dogs have

well they are going to see one NOW cause your mom is bringing home Nathan. He is a beautiful walker hound who is sweet and gentle like me so puleeze be nice to him. he has had a rough few weeks. he came from the same horrible place that toby came from, transylvania NC . he once belonged to someone cause he is healthy and well cared for and very well behaved. Somehow he ended up in this place that is just cages on the ground that get hosed out with the dogs in them even in the wintertime....brrrrr. your momma is saving him and he is so lucky. i know you will like your new brother. ps he is bigger than you are. love wishbone

Hey we are tailmates! I just learned how to wag my tail too. I was raised in a cage...I didn't have a family til Mama and Oso adopted me when I was a year and a half old. I am going to be 4 in a week - and just this year I figured out tails are supposed to move around. I also figured out that toys are FUN. I never had any toys except for tennis balls. But I tried squeaking one of Oso's stuffed toys and, hey, it's FUN. Now I steal them away from him so I can squeak them. I hope you can be my friend Wishbone. Mama said if you guys lived closer we could play together. I don't know how far North Carolina is from Seattle, but I think it's far - like an hour or something!
