King of the beast! AKA-- the tom kitty you fell for! AKA--- ME!!

about me

Hi, I am Fiver. If you have read Watership Down by Richard Adams, you know I am a very mysterious kitty. I was named after one of the character in the book.

I met Mom when I was 4 weeks old kitten. Mom came to see the litter of kittens and I KNEW she is a cat lover and I can walk all over her! (I literally do that every morning to wake her up!) I clung to her sweater with my tiny pink paws and meowed really sweetly. She fell for my sky blue kitten eyes. Besides I was the runt of the litter, how could anyone not fall for me?

I used to live with other cats, but Mom had to adopt them out.
The vet found out I was FIV positive (this is like an AIDS for humans) and I could pass the disease to other cats. Sadly I have to be the only cat in the household (that also means more loving for me!).

 

Mom and I were very very sad when all the kitty cats were gone. Especially we missed my sister Halley. We grew up together and she taught me many unspoken “Cat rules”, like “A cat must inspect all the bags and boxes entering its house by sticking its head in it” or “A cat must take action when she/he is not happy with its litter box by pooping on the fine bed cover”.

After reading bunch of books and consulting with other vets, Mom decided there is a large chance my FIV positive is a just a false test result. After all, none of the other cats were positive and we shared food and water bowls together.

After a good 8 hours drive to get Halley back from a shelter, the 3 of us were back together. We are a happy family again. (*no, the dog is a servant, not a family member)


I currently live with a dumb dog (see Zus)/ live in servant, my sister (see Halley) and Mom. The dog is not my choice. One day he came, and he stayed. I hear Mom yell at him all the time like “Get out from kitchen!” or “Leave the kitty alone!”
One of these days, I am going to teach him a lesson by giving him a bloody nose.
