I am 1 of 4 mini dachshunds in this household and I'm the oldest. Next in line is Chloe, then Lexus, then Charles. We try to behave but don't do so good. Chloe and I like to escape from the yard and run around the neighborhood. Mom gets really mad but I'm not sure why. She got us a house with a fenced back yard but she forgets one thing, we were bred to dig and we love it! It still gets us in lots of trouble though. It has something to do with traffic or getting picked up or something!
When mom gets home, I howl at her until she pets me. When mom gets up in the morning, I howl until she pets me. When mom walks into the same room as me, I howl until she pets me. When I want to play ball, you guessed it, just howl! It seems to work!

Now listen to me guys. I thought Like you do and went exploring and running around, but it happened once to often. The third time they gave me away and I followed the kids to school I got into real trouble. I ended up trapped in the middle of a highway with traffic all around me. The policeman had to turn on his siren and pick me up. I went to jail and my people wouldn't pay the fine. If mom hadn't walked in and took pity on me. She told the policeman that if no one wanted me she would pay my fine and take me to live with her. I could have been put down otherwise. Behave yourself guys no running. It could mean jail time.

Hey Sam! It sounds like you and your housemates better start behaving. Just kidding...who am I to talk. When I was younger I was not such a good pup. But I am very well behaved now and I actually like it that way!
