blurbHi, I'm Jack-Jack. I'm named after the baby from the movie "The Incredibles". I'm between 6-7 years 'young' and I look like a Carolina dog .
I live in Royal Oak, MI, with my mom. Royal Oak is a cool place to live and play. Because we live in a condo, we walk a lot - I like my 2+ mile "long walk" the best. On weekends, we go to the big bark park in Lake Orion. I like to ride in the car and I LOVE to rough-house with anyone and everyone! :)
Rosco is my best doggy friend. I also have doggy cousins who live in Austin, TX. My mom calls them "the girls" - they are named Ginny and Jackie. My other cousin, Midnight, is a girl too - a black Shar Pei who ives in Minneapolis, MN.
about meI was adopted by my mom in April of 2005. Prior to that, I lived at a no-kill shelter for almost one year. The shelter staff had me treated for heartworm and a skin infection. Once I completed my treatments, I was ready for my new home. I waited, and I waited, and I waited. Finally, after waiting for sooooo long, my mom picked ME. What a joyous day for me!

Hey Friends,I had a fantastic day! Mom dropped me off at Rosco's house on the way to work. By lunch time, we "re-opened" the bag of dog food and helped ourselves. Oh yes, there was food in the bowl, but this was a challenge and fun too! So, after work, Rosco and I got to go on a walk to burn off some of that pent up energy. On the drive home, rather than drop me...

Hey Jack-Jack! We are doing ok considering it's a rainy day here in the South. Apparently it's raining everywhere-Benjamino told us it's raining there too. Love the lobster and thinking what we could do to it's legs..hmmm...? Daddy's been watching tons of college football, he doesn't talk, but makes a lot of moaning noises?? Hello my good friend Jack-Jack, the house is getting there but still a lot of small stuff need to fix but father said we will move Saturday week. So I will need to pack my chicken toy with me on the day. I went to the new house with Totti today with the helper. We run around in the garden and bark to the gardener who come to put some plants in. Aiya ! my mama just recently pick up tennis again. She does not play very well at all but she can run around as exercise. I like to chase tennis ball. Sometimes father will give his old tennis ball to play for a while. Father and mama may go sailing on Saturday as their friends of firends come to HK for travel. But not confirmed yet as the weather will be very cold... Any plan for you and your mom for the long weekend ?

Hi Jack-Jack, the weather is getting cold here. It will come down to about 10C. To us is cold. Great, you mom has a short working week and a long weekend. What is the plan for you both ? I will ask mama to take a picture of my new blanket if she buys it in the weekend. I always think that you go to Rosco's house every day when your mom goes to work ???? So do you stay inside the house when mom goes to work ? Your lobster is very cute but seems quite hard to break it. I have a pinky plastic bone. I only played with mama when she comes home from work. I will pick it up and mama will take it from my mouth and throw it far away. I pick it up again and mama does the same. But after 5-6 rounds, I am not interested and stopped. Mama always laughs at me and says I am a lazy doggy. Aiya !!!! bark to you later.

I'm still dreaming of that tuna. My pawrents ate some sushi yesterday. I wonder if that fishy was in the kitchen. Momsie and dad will be on a big boat for a couple of weeks and I'll be staying at my step brother Max's place. He is the mellow yellow lab who likes to hide my rawhides. I'll have to keep an eagle eye on that big boy. I'll bark at ya in a couple of weeks. Luvies, Mayapapaya

Ciao my handsome friend Jack-Jack well yesterday me and Wasabi had really great time with grandmom and Giuseppe(her boyfriend name)..they play and cuddle us a looootttt!!!!!! For lunch mom prepared many things... before lunch some middle-soft-tablet-cheese with herbs on the top and some mushrooms with warm and crunchy bread...Like main dish there was some emat with prunes and french-beans...and like dessert a pandoro with cream, Nutella and hazel-nuts cream!!!Drinking some Barbera red wine during the lunch and "Fragolino"(red sparkling sweet wine)with dessert..After this dad drink also some Whiskey "Four Roses" "To digest"he said..(^O~)...Anyway dad has a Philips LCD here in home and he say that's really good...otherwise also LG TV are good...For how cocner BLURAY player dad use only PS3 so cannot help you..sorry... Hi J-J! Well, my breathing is nice and calm BUT this morning I did a bigbusinessoopsie in the back yard. You know how we sorta hunker down to get the job done...well that's what I was doing and while I was down on my haunches I couldn't "hold the pose" and I SAT IN IT! I immediately looked to see if either Smoky or Maggie the neighbor dogs saw me, but only Mom and Dad saw. So they brought me in and cleaned me up and Mom mumbled something about "I wish we still had Baby Fresh Wipes" around here." Apparently they had those when my brothers and sister were babies. I felt kind of sheepish, then a few minutes later peed on the floor by the door. Talk about getting my functions messed up! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. My mom thinks the Lysol and paper towel companies will stay in business a long time because of me. But at least I haven't gone on the carpet! I do my best to stay on the tile! Hi Jack-Jack! Yep, the route was fine for New Year's morning! No problems. Joel won't go back to Langhorne, PA for another week or two. His b'day is on the 19th and he wants to stay till we have a b'day party for him. Then he'll go back to his place, and they'll have another party for him there. Smart guy, huh? Hehe!! Mary is doing fine...Mom thinks that even though she doesn't like the situation, she's accepting it. Josh is in a transition period right now, so he's kinda at loose ends. He'll be okay once he lands on his feet! Yep, Rat is still here with us and still driving Mary NUTS! Boy, he's grown more than twice what he was when Josh brought him home! Good food!! He probably thinks he's in heaven!! Well, except for Mary barking at him all the time! Hahahaha!!! We're having bad weather again...another ice storm. Just what we need, huh? Papers will be late in the morning, that's for sure. How late depends on Mother Nature and PennDot! Have a great night!!

oh....okay.....we have an OLD...OLD more like ANCIENT troll in our yard.....he sits under the garden tree.....he is harmless, his paint is peeling, but he minds the ornamental tree....and bothers the cat. BOL!!!! So he can't be that bad. I am okay......going on yard patrol when mom is up to it, and timber romps when the ground isn't really really slick. the rabbits are hiding from me.....I want to find them SO BAD!!!!!!!!

Hello Jack Jack!!! Hope you had a great day! You have to tell your Mommy and Daddy to come to Minneapolis so we can all hang out together, you, Rosco and I! Oh that would be so much fun, I would show you the local dogpark! Your mommy has to put doggie balm on your paws too? Good to hear, I thought it was just me!! I like to lick it off when she is not looking though! I did come across some more rabbit tracks on my walk today, but Daddy kept telling me to 'quit pulling' so I really didn't get to explore. Walking is much more slack with Mom since she is easier to pull around. Other than that, my night was good...oh, had a faboulus dinner! Mommy always likes to mix wet food in with my dry because she thinks it makes me eat more...well tonight I got Venison with Garden Veggies and Sweet Potatoes! Some holistic stuff, but oh was it good! She really doesn't put that much wet food with the dry, just enough to give it some more flavor! Man, my tummy is big tonight!! I think it will be an early night!! Woof Woof, Ruger

Hi Jack-Jack, you definitley don't need to be on diet at all. I still don't believe that you are overweight...I have already reminded mama to move all the stuff in the "magic drawer" from the existing house to the new house. She has to give me a new "magic drawer" in the new house. I will tell you where it is after the move. An updated news for you that the builder built my doggie house yesterday and should paint it today in white. Mama is going to buy me a bed/blanket to put it in. I asked mama that can I have a heater and she said I am a bit mad ??? Father came to Hong Kong slightly more than 13 years. He came here because he could not find a job in Ireland as that time was recession. He has a good friend in Hong Kong and his friend invites him to come over. In addition, father said that he watched a James Bond movie (very old one) which some of it was shot in Hong Kong. So he thinks that Hong Kong is an exciting place and he would be James Bond one day :) ha ! Ha ! Father is so stupid !!!!! Mama walked with us tonight and father went to play tennis with his friends. Hello Jack-Jack, how is your day ? Mama totally agreed with you that the break in Chinese New Year to relax and organise the stuff in the new house. Mama told me that when she thinks about moving house, she has the headache immediately. Maybe you mom can take the Easter holiday off and spend more time with you or you can go to see Charlie Brown with her...The old house has not rented it out yet as the economy is not very good. Father said that it should be OK for a while to leave it empty. Mama was busy at work and cannot leave early. However, she came home and she still went out for a walk with us. I guess that she enjoys to walk with us as she always talks with us when we are walking. Mama said that she will bring my doggy house to the new house but will buy me a new blanket in the weekend. Hopefully will get a warm one for me. Enjoy your day and bark to you later.

Hey Jack-Jack! Happy new year! Hehe, how could I not be happy when I get lots of treats? We also had a New Year's party and I was so happy because there were my mom's cousins there. Now my mom is kind of sad about her body because she gained so much weight from all the food, hehehe. Next time you see Rosco, can you give him a hi for me? :) My mom got a watch and a couple of things for Christmas. I got treats :D Woohoo. Have an awesome 2009!
