Lean On Me Doberman Rescue Lean On Me Doberman Rescue (LOMDR) is a group of passionate, dedicated volunteers committed to saving not only Doberman Pinschers, but also other dogs in need. While we are primarily a breed-specific rescue, we find it hard to say “no” to the countless other dogs and puppies in need we hear about literally every single day – most being rescued hours before the time they were due to be euthanized. LOMDR is licensed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture as an approved animal shelter. We are a 501c3 Not for Profit Organization and a corporation in the State of Illinois comprised solely of volunteers. Our purpose is to educate the public about rescue, to promote responsible dog ownership and to reduce the abuse and neglect of Doberman Pinscher dogs. In addition, our mission is to provide educational services about training, altering, and the humane care of dogs and to also promote good canine citizenship. LOMDR is dedicated to saving abused, abandoned, surrendered and homeless Dobermans. Our goal is to restore them to good health, rehabilitate and place them into safe and loving, permanent homes

Thank you for the greetings - I only just saw it today. My mom has been pretty busty with the new baby in the house, a mini-me, Rocco-Billy. I sure would have loved to meet him. I guess we will meet one day!

Hey this is a great cause - I love all dogs but am especially fond of dobies, of course - which I think are the perfect dog! It reminds me of my favorite movie - "The Magnificent Dobermans". Yep, we are magnificent and so are all of you for doing such a great job!

Thank you for the paw of friendship. I hope I can see a day where every doggie has a home and every home has a doggie! Wouldn't that be wonderful! Until then, I am so grateful that there are ones like you who care for those who don't have a furever home and try your darndest to make sure they get one.
