about meI live in Maine with my Mom and one cat sister and one cat brother. I am spoiled rotten, but that's okay because I am a very good little dog. I love every one - but I do not like squirrels or chipmunks. I am obsessed with chasing them. I do not like people touching me with their feet. Looking forward to meeting some new friends.

My Mom works four long days - so that means she leaves and 7:00 in the morning and (with any luck) gets home at 7:00 at night. So that means I don't get to pee or poo for - let's see (well, a very long time). Our neighbor use to walk me around 1:00 until they decided to cut down some of Mom's tree in the front yard and take the wood (long story) - anyway - Mom won't let her walk me anymore. So

Thank you Bentley for your nice note. I'm going to send it to Ken at the Rescue Service this morning so he can see how caring some folks are. I've heard about those people down here that fly dogs to their new homes. Maybe I should work on Tommy....I didn't know he loves Westies. Yesterday...no messes in the house and Mom spent 35 minutes outside freezing this morning with her until she did all her duties. She also let Mom cradle her again like a baby from 7:15am until 8am when Mom figured she should go out. Maybe we're in for a good day. Mom has to bowl in her league today so her friend is coming to sit here while she's gone. Keep your paws crossed. Luv and Angel Hugs, Morgan

Dear Bentley and Mom, Thank you so much for caring about Pearl. I knew I would never be able to foster a dog....I get so attached and want to help so much. The past 15 months taking care of Morgan and losing him took an awful lot out of both my husband and I. We literally gave up our retirement lives, traveling to see children as they all live far away and spent money we really couldn't afford to keep him out of pain and with us longer. I never planned on fostering....just got involved when I gave his meds to this group. I told them that down the road a bit I would try to help with computer work or something. Then they sent me Pearl's picture and story...well, they knew I couldn't say no but I had to promise my family I'd do it for the first week only to show her love and companionship. I had no idea what I was in for. She has a long way to go before she is adoptable and the small rescue group is doing what they can to find her a quiet next foster. She's come a long way and her worst problem is that she doesn't want to go outside as she's very scared...the first few days I believe she was still sedated due to her spaying on Friday. I will keep you posted and I will talk to Ken the gentleman that heads up Dunedin Dog Rescue about your offer but they have very strict rules the adoption process and having them far away where they can't check on them. Please keep her in your prayers. I'm trying so hard to give her all my time and love and "fix" her in one week and I know it can't be done. If I kept her any longer I wouldn't be able to let her go and I must....I hope you understand. Love and Hugs, Jane, Morgie's Mom

No cone for me!! It was really hard but I have started keeping the licking to a minimum. My Momma has been watching me like a hawk when she is here. I swear she has eyes in the back of her head. I am feeling so much better though.I hope the weather improved for you. They are predicting snow for this weekend here....can you believe it. I hope they're wrong!
Hi Bentley! Yes, I asked Dad bout it and he said he was tempted, but just didn't think he could handle 2 doggies at this time. He says he'd like nothing more than to have house full of doggies, but there's lotsa things to consider before taking on a big responsibility like that. He's sad for her and prays that she gits the special home she deserves.

Hi Bentley, Mom already put a litter box in the bath off the bedroom but thanks for the suggestion. This is really sad...and Mom can only keep Pearl one week but the rescue service knew that...they really wanted her kept with Mom as there were no other doggies. I see Mom had tears today...she wants to do more but she can't and now she's worried about Pearl backsliding but has faith that with time with another foster pawrent she'll remember what she's learned at my house. Mom's sending lots of thingees with her like my ortho pad, towel, toys, etc. Pearl seemed more scared today but Mom thought maybe that's becuz the meds from the spaying have worn off and she's more with it in her head. But she did give Mom kisses today and didn't try to bite her like yesterday when she was so jumpy. Mom said she was never cut out to be a foster pawrent cuz she gets so attached...maybe my idea wasn't so great after all. But Mom will keep tabs on Pearl and we'll pray she keeps progressing. You are very lucky Bentley and I was/am....I wish Pearl hadn't gone threw being a breeder dog at that puppy mill. Keep her in your prayers please. Luv and Angel Hugs, Morgan and his Mommy

Hey Bentley! Hope your Mom's better now. My Dad's been sick with that crud too. Both of his ears were infected and sinuses were totally messed up. He got a couple of shots though and he's on the mend. Mom's having trouble seeing Tommy's videos. She's got an old browser on her computer and it doesn't always let her see the videos. When my human brother comes home from the beach (Spring Break) she's gonna use his laptop. It was nice of your Mommy to give you a little extra rope - too bad you didn't cooperate. Maybe she'll try again soon :) My Mommy makes me stay on my leash when we're in front yard but sometimes after a walk she'll turn me loose at the very end of the driveway (we have a loooong driveway) and I'll run to the porch and wait for her. I know if I ever go off course she'll not let me do it again. We don't have nearly as many squirrels in the front as we do in the back and that probably has saved me. It's been kind of dull and gloomy this week so far. Very cloudy and in the 50's. I'm ready for some SUN! Yes, Mommy watched the bachelor………she's a little unsure about the choice he made. Not a big Vienna fan :(. Mommy didn't care for Jake too much either though, and we don't really think Ali should be the next bachelorette since she had to leave the show for work. We really like her though - just hope she doesn't find a reason to leave in the middle of her own show!! Too bad we don't live closer or we'd come over and help your Mommy with that back yard fence. (We'd have lots of fun I bet)! Hope you have an OUTSTANDING rest of the week buddy and I'll bark later on!!

Hi my sweet Bentley,ooh your poor mommy! I hope she gets better soon,but it is great that you can be together now! No,we don't got Ellen here in Belgium. What is Ellen,is that like a soap or something else? Jippe!The flowers are growing! Here in Belgium the weather is really nice,alot of sun and around 15C! I am outside laying in the sun the whole day! Hehehe. I checkes Tommy Tunes new video,it is so cute! And you sure are special,sure for me!! Things with me and my family are going great,thanks for asking! How are you and your lovely family doing? No,we didn't go to that fancy pet shop lately but my mommy says we will go very soon cause it is almost Fleurs birthday and we buy a present for her in that shop. us here agoin mom ruvs to look at your picture she just thinks u r soooooo adorable I jsut ruv to woof woof at ya Bently! its still cold and dreary here. I did go tot he river though and I actually swm after a stick but i bet i'm going to be sore tomorrow!! how does ur mommy do those runs she msut be ein a-1 shape huh do u go to? did u teach her how to run like that. u look like a runer yorself FAST as the wind even! hey why do u have 2 collars on? been doing anything to the felines today?
