I am napping here on the couch while mom does her homework and plays on doggyspace. Minnie is asleep in her bubble butt bed. She is doing great, healthy and happy. Still playful and loves walking. Such a healthy breed, like me!

about me

  • I am Ace, mom named me that because I was lucky! I was on my last days at the city shelter. I guess terriers are common there so I was over looked for days. My mom came in looking for a dog and I wasn't what she thought she wanted but she fell in love, who wouldnt!! Now we have been best buds for 4 years. I love to cuddle and get petted. I love to look out the window and chase squirrels. I am picky about my food, I can't just have plain dry food. I love it mixed with canned or meat. I also love to go for walks with mom and my buddies. I am one of four doggies here, Mom loves to foster dogs and adopt and I dont mind sharing my house to help them out!

  • Minnie is my new sis, but shes more like my granddog. She is 17 years old. She lived in Iowa with a lady in a trailer and another 17 year old dog and 2 cats. Well the lady got a boyfriend and the boyfriend didnt want them so the lady told her neighbor to find them a home. Well that nice neighbor found Fluffy Butts rescue group and they took Minnie in. And then my parents found her, they like rat terriers cuz of me :) and They left me for a whole day and drove 5 hours there and 5 hours back to get her. Shes pretty nice. She likes to steal things off the counter and we all eat them. And she still likes to walk and play a lot. I wouldnt believe she was 17! She sleeps a lot but when shes awake she likes to be goofy and wild. Shes pretty lucky cuz most shelters wouldn't have given her a chance and my parents are so nice they wanted to take her because no one else did.

I just saw that some of you were wondering what kind of treats were making us sick. We hadn't ever gotten sick with other kinds of treats before. These were from Petsmart.     Ace & Minnie it is so great to have new furiends. Welcome to Doggyspace. My mini tennis ball is the only thing I will play with. I will only play with it in the house. Mommy tried to get me to play with it outside not going to happen. You never know there could be mini tennis ball thieves out there. There is a really fun group here on Doggyspace. It is called Postcard Exchange Group. We have gotten cards from Greece,Hungary,Mexico and Australia from all over the World. Maybe your Mommy would let your family join. Mommy got our cakes at WalMart. They were YUMMY! You are very cute yourself.

    Hi Ace, My momma thought it was a good idea to try to find homes for her rescues on DS but she hasnt had any luck. Not one person contacted her about me or my packmate Junebug. My Momma needs to change our profile because we are probably staying with our Momma forever. She has had us both for a year and a half and she loves us. She says we could only be adopted to a VERY good friend or family member because she is too attached. Much Love Calvin & The Heelers
