about me

Hi, I'm Zoey, like my name I am pretty silly. I am happy and loving but not wild like some dogs. But I do like to run and play. My mom saved me from the pound. I had kennel cough and they put me in the back which was scary, then my mom came and asked for me and they let her take me because she has a lot of experience with doggies. They took me out to visit her and when she said she would take me home I gave her a big sloppy kiss on her cheek even though I really didnt feel good. I got some medicine and got better and now I'm very healthy. I don't know why people wouldn't want black dogs?? I have 2 sisters and a brother. None of them really play with me as much as I would want but mom has foster dogs to meet and play with sometimes and that is fun. Mom spoils me and makes me very girly and I like it. Just cuz I'm not tiny and prissy doesnt mean I cant be pampered! I usually have my toe nails painted and a fancy collar. I love life!!

Vet trip today.

I went to the vet today for a rabies shot. I have only been to the vet like 3 times in my life, i was pretty worried about it. I tried to figure out what was going on. I'm still not sure what happened. There was a little puppy I wanted to go see, it was cute! And then they called us in the room and I was very nervous about meeting the vet, he was nice though, and chicklet seemed to like him so...

    How I got my name is kinda interesting. My original owner named me something else and while my new mom was trying to find me a new and better home, she noticed I had absolutely no response to that name so as she came to be the new and better home it was time to come up with a name. The whole family was in on it: gramma, grampa, aunts, uncles and cousins. It was crazy; they just kept calling out names when suddenly I heard my aunt say "how about Zoey?" and I turned my head to answer her so there it was. My name is Zoey cuz it is the only name I responded to and it stuck from that second on. LickettySplit is cuz I'm so fast and Kitsune is Japanese for fox. I appreciate you liking my name. My mom spent a ridiculous amount of time so in a way you are lucky. She just wanted something fancy in case she goes thru with registering me with the AKC. I'm glad to know ya and hope you weren't bored with my story.

    No Zoey we didn't get snow for Christmas but we did get a few inches the next day..I had a wonderful first Christmas with my Mom. Lots of toys,treats and Christmas Love!! Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR Sweetie.. Hugs Phoebe
