about me

Hi!  My name is Tessa.  I'm not sure what I'm mixed with--nobody knows, and really, nobody cares--everyone loves me no matter what!  That's so nice, considering I was taken to the animal shelter in York, PA and was so scared.  I just cowered in my pen.  All my siblings were adopted, but they were more outgoing than me.  But a nice lady, my foster mom, took me out of there to show me how a family lived.  The mom I have now adopted me from her and gave me a permanent home.  She adopted me and my brother, Tyson, from the same rescue group, but different foster homes, on the same day!  He and I hit it off right away!!  Now we're a real family!  You can check out my furbrother, Tyson's profile for his story.

    Mum loves dogs she says us doggies are better than humans BOL. I've made some cool new doggy friends through mums business, she has a dog called Pele who stays every other month I wuv him. Hehe mum says even though its hard getting the customers sometimes she would never stop working with animals. Mum also volunteers at our local animal rescue centre in the kennels.     Hello Tessa and Tyson! Just wanted to let you know that I don't let that alligator out of my sight. Mom just cracks up! I KNOW you sent it to me, and Mom is SO happy that I now feel well enough to actually play with toys once again! For almost 2 years (out of my 4 years on this earth) I didn't care about toys. This morning, Romeo had it for a couple of minutes. I stood right beside him, looking VERY worried, but he let me have it back! Mom doesn't know if it's because she took me off the medicine, or the thyroid medicine kicking in or the acupuncture or a combination...but she is very happy to see me act like a puppy again!!! THANK YOU for the alligator...my very favorite toy!
