blurbabout mealthough my name is monkey, mom calls me monster. i was rescued from chesapeake animal control in 2005.
now i live in virginia beach with mom & dad. when they adopted me, they had already adopted ripley about 6 months prior. ripley & i get on good. she minds her own business. i like that.
then a few years later mom & dad started fostering dogs for K-9 New Life... at first 1 at a time, then they tried fostering 2 at a time, then back down to 1. i loved this at first because i made new friends but then snoopy & luna found forever homes. after losing 2 friends, i decided i didn't like foster dogs so much because they come & go and i miss them after.
but we did adopt grubbs a.k.a. pete who was being fostered by another K9NL volunteer. now we're on foster dog #7 and she's cool but i'm still not sure i want to be her friend. maybe i need to see a psychiatrist.
in addition to ripley & grubbs a.k.a. pete, i share my home with 3 kitties. well, they're not exactly kitties -- they are each about 13 years old. they were once strays.

When does weather get warm enough for the pool where you live. I have been occupying my time watching Sox (the cat) tear up the Christmas tree REPEATEDLY. Its kinda funny but a annoying for mommy.
