about me

Hi, my name is Shadow, but Mom calls me Speedbump or The Gentle Giant.

I have a big brother named Merlin who came to the shelter looking to adopt a brother. Mom and dad would go in and pick a dog and bring them out to Merlin in the play yard and he was not interested at all.  Finally dad went in and got me out and Merlin was all over me! Mom said I was too young and didn't want a puppy, but thank goodness she changed her mind. A couch and a couple area rugs later, I stopped being a puppy and grew up so it's all good now.

    Shadow, I'm glad you got adopted. I was adopted too. That cage in the shelter was scary. I love my Mom and my little brother, Casper. I also have 2 human big brothers who come to visit Mom and I really love them too. When they are here, I spend the night in their room to protect the rest of the family. I'm glad you got over the puppy years. Mom says no more puppies for her. Me and my brother are both adult rescues. However, being a husky I still act like a puppy even though I am 10 years old. Nice to meet you
