MOLLY STILL LIVES WITH ME
Molly still lives with me, she's never very far,
She's the first I see in the morning,
and she's the first to get in the car.
We always are together, and have lots of fun on walks,
Than a lot of the times,
We'll just sit on the floor and talk.
We listen to the music, and sing and dance,
Than she barks and takes her famous bulldog stance.
We do the tummy rubs, and scratches, and I get a kiss,
She comes back for more and more,
There isn't a one she wants to miss.
When we go to bed at night, I close my eyes and see,
her jumping on my bed, and snuggling up to me.
YOU wonder why I say this!! because I know were not apart,
Molly still lives with me, in my life, my soul, my heart..
Written for Molly by Judy
My name is Fair Molly Mcq, but I am affectionately known as Molly. I was my Mom Judy's, first Boston Terrier. and the one that started the whole life's journey with Bostons. it didnt take long and Mom and I became inseparable and she never went anywhere without me, I had a perfect way of making her feel very sorry for me. My Mom was the Director of a Memory Care unit, she had started, and I stayed in the unit during the day with her. I became old Blackie, Spot, Trixie and thier dogs of long ago.
I kissed the tears off thier faces when they could not remember who they were or where they were going. Followed them when they were lost, and played ball with them and made them smile, laid on the beds of those that were dying so they would not die alone. I was a bright light to many but Mom says I was the brightest light in her life. I was a Therapy dog member of the Delta Society, Pet Partner,
When I got sick , with Cushing's dsease, my Mom took the last 6 months of my life off work to spend every minute with me. She never left my side, and when it was time to say Goodbye, Mom simply could not , but my vet said it was the last gift she could give to me.
I gave my whole life to others, working as a Therapy dog all my life,
I have a very large fan Club and my life's story is in two books one Called IT'S OK TO CRY,
and the other written by Dr Allen, and Linda Anderson, called God's Messengers.
Mom was slowly dying of a broken heart, When my Sister Megan stepped into the picture 16 months after I became and Angel. Megan was bred by the same breeder, Shirley Coin of Alton Missouri, same bloodline and born in the same Whelping box, Megs story is on Molly's Web site..
Megan saved my Mom's life..and her journey and story started with Me
