My Name is Venus, I am a 7 years old fawn boxer with a lot of flash. My Mommy and Daddy like to call me Beans, not really sure why, but I answer to it. I live in a log house on 5 acres and I am spoiled rotten. Who could say no to my face!! I came to live with my Mommy and Daddy when my old owners had to move to Japan. I love to be the center of attention. I am a little girl (only 45 pounds), but I love to cuddle!! I love to jump when I am ready to come back inside, I can jump all the way up to the window in our front door.

about me

I live with my sister Daisy (Boxer) she is a big girl, 80 pounds, and my brother Bluto (Pit Bull). I am the smallest in my family but when things get out of hand I growl and everyone goes to lay down. It is pretty funny actually. I love to sleep on the couch, on the bed, in the yard in the sun. What can I say, I like to sleep. I don't really like to play, maybe because I am old, or maybe just because I think that I am a princess.

Toxic Mulch

Over the weekend the doting owner of two young lab mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. They loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden. Their dog Calypso decided that the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a large helping. She vomited a few times which was typical when she eats something new but wasn't acting lethargic
