If I'm in the mood, I like to play but I will NOT chase a ball and I do NOT retreive. Note great in my name. Who wants it after it's been in my mouth anyway?
I was eleven on august 10th this year so I'm maybe getting on the old side now. Recently I was diagnosed with a tumor on the top of my femur and as I said, I'm gettin old so they can't do surgery on it so mom does her job of being my private nurse and keeping me from being in a lot of pain. I can get around on my three good legs still and the prayers from my Doggy Space friends are what keeps me going. This is the best site for doggies and the humans who love them. I got really sick recently and mom thought it was time for me to go to the Bridge but after my friends here started praying for me I started to feel better so for now, I'm hanging in here with mom and hobbling around on three legs.
After my "browther" Pepper went to the Rainbow Bridge in the spring, mom and her friend have been fostering a black lab mix, named Jake. I think that the fostering part is over and now Jake is one of the family. Brandon's Safe Rescue managed to rescue Jake from a bad shelter in AL and Jake was flown to NC. He is my buddy now and you will be seeing pics of him soon.
We have three cats, Manny , Rikki and Polly (cause she has funny extra toes), who we adopted when they needed a home. They sort of know it's all about ME. Manny's photo is now on my profile too. He looks like a big fluffy marshmallow.
We all live with our mom in North Carolina in a town that is all about racing. Car racing, NOT dog racing. The town says Race City, USA.

Our dear friends Alex, MsEdy, Hans, and Hannah sent mom a memory plate. It is beautiful and it was such a thoughtful gesture on their parts. They are truly awesome. Some of you know Alex as he was on DS and he will be back again when he adopts his Beagle. That Beagle will be one happy doggy to live with Alex!Isn't it beautiful?

Oh Max, our angelic Great Dane! That was a pawsome sermon you left on my profile about the fig tree. Mamma can totally relate cuz she and Pa have a lot of fruit trees and this NC red clay soil is giving them quite a challange. Could you please copy and paste what you wrote us on the Doggyville Church? You have to post it as a 'new thread' found on the right section of the page so only the church members will see it. Hey Max Mom and I read it and we like that the fig tree needed the manure to help it bear fruit we agree, with all the things that life some times gives us its amazing that we can still bear fruit!!!!! mom's life has handed her a lot of manure but God has turned all that into so many blessings you see being that kid that was all alone and outcast form others she turned to a pencil and a sketch book and she carried them (pencils and sketchbooks) all through her life and as you know it has remained a big part of her life!!!!!! Mom will make some more cards for your mom!!!!!! Mom says she thought you and Bear would be besties!!!!!! We love you Max!!!!!!!!
Mornin' Max, guess we will see you and Sparkles at breakfast. We need to talk about Promise wanting to enter OUR race. I told her NO GIRLS ALLOWED at this one. Just for the guys, but around Easter time we could fix up a race for the girls and we could be the Cheerleaders. What do you think? You know Pepsi wants to be a cheerleader on Earth. I think that would be just great. See you at breakfast.

Oh Max, Mom started your picture and then had to take a brake cause she had to go some where and then she worked the next day and when she came home to finish she found out you went to the bridge it was so hard for her to finish it cause she had tears in her eyes but she looked in those beautiful eyes of yours and heard you say please do this for me cause its for my Mom. Mom feels a connection to animals(mainly us doggies) she says God touches her hands its his talent he just uses her hands to do it. Mom and I are happy that your Mom likes it and hopes it gives her comfort!!!!!!! Mom is going to put your image on her website too. We Love you so much Max!!!! Please say Hello to my brother Bear for mom and I, Mom still misses him so much hes been at the bridge for 2 years now. and remember we can give your mom more cards if she ever wants them ok. I think Harmon will have a great time here! It was hard to understand him when he spoke on earth...I bet here, he will be strong and vocal and really nice! Thanks for helping me to see him through! We have to make sure he can find his way all right....

Uh oh...I think Sparkman is trying to psych me out for the race. He's threatening to get me some PINK boots for my "aching" feet!!!! BOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him I'm in such great shape now that I don't have any aching feet. VROOM, VROOM!!!!!!

Max, I almost forgot...the humans can bring an American Flag if they don't have a bandana or walking stick. Maybe you could find one for him! He had almost 200 in his collection on earth...I think we could find one for him here somewhere....

Hi Max! I found out from Mom that the send off from earth is on Wed in the evening around 4--8 p m. They expect around 300 people at the party. Everyone is invited to bring a walking stick and/or a bandana in honor of Prince Charmin' Harmon. I figured that since I met him on earth, I will know him when he gets here too! I know that Jeff is already polishing the Angel Taxi to bring him to us! I want to be the first to welcome him home. After that, the hobos at the Hobo Jungle outside the Big Cloud are going to make sure that he is fully welcomed before he gets settled in. I thought it would be nice if all of us could bring him a little something to make sure he feels at home here. I was going to bring him a beautiful walking stick! I will wear my best wings and a beautiful pink bandana!

Yes, it was great. I really liked the sermon, he was almost as good as Pastor Fonzie wasn't he. Sparkles really did sparkle. You better watch her Max, I think she has her eyes on you. And they are such pretty eyes. I know my Angel Ladybug was just adorable. We will do something that is fun today. We might think about going swimming, but I think Ladybug is saying all four of us need to practice for the BIG RACE. We will get something to eat after we practice I guess. These gals will tell us what we need to do I am sure. See ya' later.
