The last thing Mum says to me when she's walking out he door is, "Shiloh, you're in charge and I'll be home soon.' So imagine my surprise when Mr. Chris, our postman, stopped by. I know I'm not allowed to have friends when I'm home alone so he just stacked everything against the door but I knew they were for me and I could even tell they were from King. Glad to hear things are well with you and yours. Things are good here. Some scary weather Friday night, as the sirens went off in town. Several tornadoes were confirmed in the countryside, not no damage reported. GMa is doing well. She was happy and smiling when dad saw her last weekend. Still struggling with the broken hip, but progress is slow when the patient is 88 years young. Have fun working on the hot house, and enjoy your week, friends.
Hi Shiloh and family. Good Friday morning to you. How is everything going? Is the greenhouse completed? Things are good here. It has been a warm and busy week, and dad has all the corn planted finally. And we have been keeping up our patrols of the farm, and keeping the critters hopping. Dad says we found one too many critters, though. Kane discovered a skunk this morning, and had to get the peroxide-baking soda-Dawn bath followed by a regular bath. Dad wonders if he will ever learn! Hi Shiloh and family!! We're stopping by to wish a belated Happy Mother's Day to your Mom...we hope her day was extra special! Our Mom is recovering from a hip replacement (about a month now) and we've been sure to be super careful around her while she's walking with a cane. Everything went very well and the doctors are happy with her recovery, etc. Now she's impatient to get rid of the cane and start working in the yard! Dad told her to be patient, but she said weeds wait for no one!! BOL
You are right, your mom isn't nearly old enough for that!
We had a great weekend, and GMa was happy and smiling when we saw her. She is still using a wheelchair, but making good progress in her recovery. We hope the birthday party was a success, and that mom had a great Mother's Day as well. You are lucky to have her in your life, friend. Have a great week!

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH BY ALL OF US! MOMMY WILL PROUDLY WEAR THE JEWEL! HOW ARE YOU, DEAR? I'M SO SORRY BUT MOMMY HAS TOO MANY TASKS... WE'RE FINE, BESTIE. GMa is doing as well as she can be expected to. She is making progress, but it will take time. Sounds like your new addition is coming along nicely. That is great that you will have your own place of honor in it. We know your mom will enjoy having your company as she uses it. It has been nice here lately, so hopeful the snow has gone for good. Dad planted corn yesterday (finally), but rain has slowed work today. We need the moisture, so we are okay with it. Hope everyone is doing well at your house. Enjoy your day, friends.
We are sorry to hear that things didn't go well. Hopefully mom is feeling better now, and that she understands that the illness and snowstorm wasn't anything she could have prevented. DS has been frustrating to many of our friends. Our weather has been up and down, but we missed all the snow. We had a bit of a scare last Friday. GMa fell and broke her hip in three places. After three long days of medical blunders and miscommunications, she had surgery to repair it Monday. She is doing good now, and is back at her home. Take good care of your mom, and have a good weekend, friends.
Sounds like you were blessed this weekend and more blessings on the way. We can't wait to hear all about the Chicago crews visit. We understand about our pops not being able to do what they used to. But steady progress is still progress. Been pretty slow here this week. The cold and snow earlier this week put things on hold. But a nice weekend is in store. And busy, as well. Dad will be helping a friend finish a garage interior, dog park fundraising on Saturday, and agility Sunday. We will be along on all of these. So, we are going be tired by the end of it. Our crazy weather weather continues. We woke up to a dusting of sleet and snow this morning. This after dad took Daisy in to get her "summer cut" yesterday! It hasn't stopped raining here in days. GRRRR Today it even SNOWED, do you believe that one?? Mom just hates spring because of the rain making everything look wet and dirty. We keep telling her it takes the rain to get everything growing again though. Good for dad , he's soooooo handy! I think mom would like that idea of the front porch swing as well pawfriend!
Sounds like mom and dad have a great plan. That should lots of enjoyment to both of them. We hope the flood waters recede soon. It was a crazy weather week here. Tuesday and Wednesday brought very cold temps, wind, hail, sleet, and rain. Luckily nothing too severe. Going to be nice this weekend, so we are going to enjoy it. We certainly hope mom finds her wedding band. Be on the look out for tomato hornworms wearing gold jewelry. The weather has been crazy. Warm, muggy, and hail around these parts last night (luckily nothing at little home), and another chance of severe weather tonight. Then sharply colder on Wednesday with a hard freeze forecast. It's raining cats and dogs mom says here in In. Now Shiloh, I and my brudders have looked outside and we neither see any cats or dawgs coming out of that sky.HMPH! Maybe a trip to the looney bin is in order! bol It's so awesome you get to meet the chi-town boy's and Karen their mom. We visited them once and it was so much fun. They are really great folks and doggies! I wish my mom would come to tn someday ! You have a good Monday Hope it's not raining there. Wait mom told me we need rain to make the grass grow and I do wikes grass and bushes and the such, so have a good day even if it is raining in Tn!!!!
We are glad everyone in your family is doing good. Kane is back to 100%, so we are thankful for that. Meeting Karen and the boys from Chicago will be fun.
