about meKane (AKA Mr. Kane, Kane-iac, Kaner, and Buddy Boy): I was rescued from a shelter in January of 2008. Since that time, my dad and I have become best friends. Some of my very favorite things include chewing on sticks (the bigger, the better), Squeaky the Hedgehog, and Keri's Kookies. Most days, I get to go to work with my dad. Since he works on a farm doing agricultural research, I am allowed to run loose. It's a lot of work to explore the farm, and it tuckers me out.
Daisy (AKA Daisy Girl, Ms. Daisy, Crazy Daisy, and Daze): I came to live with Kane and Dad in July of 2011. I am the polar opposite of my brother Kane. I bark at everything, love to snuggle up with dad, and have no problem keeping Kane in line. BOL Although it took some time, Kane has adjusted to having me as a "little" sister.

Hello, my twin brother and sweet Daisy! Glad to hear you all are safe and sound! We were thinking you lived in OK, not KS. I'll blame that on Meika's old age, BOL! We are safe! All we got was heavy rain and a bit of hail. More storms expected today- hope they're a lot weaker and stay away from OK! You guys stay safe, be good, and listen to your Dad!

Time sure got away from us this week. Cousin Trixie and feline Peaches are home alone so we've been doing extra duty. I go with Mum and help her walk, feed and water things. Windows, door and dried in. Papa starts the stucco as soon as we have a dry day, Mum is buying such things as pots, wind chimes, etc. I do believe she has plans for doing things out there, and I'm getting a special place so I can keep an eye on the old girl. Is GMa doing well? Stay safe!
