about meKane (AKA Mr. Kane, Kane-iac, Kaner, and Buddy Boy): I was rescued from a shelter in January of 2008. Since that time, my dad and I have become best friends. Some of my very favorite things include chewing on sticks (the bigger, the better), Squeaky the Hedgehog, and Keri's Kookies. Most days, I get to go to work with my dad. Since he works on a farm doing agricultural research, I am allowed to run loose. It's a lot of work to explore the farm, and it tuckers me out.
Daisy (AKA Daisy Girl, Ms. Daisy, Crazy Daisy, and Daze): I came to live with Kane and Dad in July of 2011. I am the polar opposite of my brother Kane. I bark at everything, love to snuggle up with dad, and have no problem keeping Kane in line. BOL Although it took some time, Kane has adjusted to having me as a "little" sister.

Our K-9 cousin Hondo is coming to visit us this weekend! He is going to send Saturday and Sunday here while his pawrents are traveling. Hondo is a three month old Miniature Doxie, and he is very much a puppy! Those little teeth of his are sharp, and he likes using them on dad's fingers and our tails. Hi Kane, Hi Daisy....I hope you two had a great weekend. I did, mommy is slowing down with work but next month, she will be pet sitting all month but she see me everyday so that's not bad. I just have fun. I hope you two have a good week. Love you guys.

What a busy time and the folks are getting much too old to be climbing stadium steps, engaging in non stop eating and all without much sleep. These things are for much younger bodies. I was also traumatized at the resort with a bath and nail clipping. What was Mum thinking? But we are all home and safe and that's a good thing. Hope all is well in your world, stay safe.

Hi guys! What's happening out your way? We've been chasing a pesky chipmunk everyday and it keeps coming back!! We're going to get it sooner or later! BOL Having lots of fun in the warm spring weather...well, when it isn't raining that is. Mom says that's okay, we need the rain so the plants will grow. But she does wish we wouldn't bring in so much mud for her to clean up! BOL

Hello Kane and Daisy how are you all doing I hope your fine. I bet your dads been busy with work do you still get to go with him Kane?? I bet he needs you to help chase off the rabbits and squirrels. Its been rainy here so I am bummed but it looks like we are having some nice weather coming our way soon so thats good. I still go a walk in when the rain turned into a drizzle so I cant complain. Washing mildew off of garage walls kept us totally entertained this last weekend but worth the effort. Nasty stuff that mildew. Going to be road warriors, huh? GMa will appreciate the visit, enjoy. We too will be hitting the road for a GSon's graduation from UT, Knoxville. Been a long 4 yrs for him and it will be nice to have him home for awhile as the job hunt begins. He does have several interviews locally so perhaps he won't be going off to find his fame and fortune just yet. Stay safe!

Another weekend is upon us and it's going to be a quiet one around here - which is OK. Moving rock and putting down new mulch is taking its toll, the peeps need a break, but it looks so good that it's hard to not keep going. Fruit trees are producing too so the deer stop by for breakfast each morning. I have to raise the alarm, you know. Atlas has a new brother, isn't Jovi a cutie pie? Stay safe!

Papa is busy in his craft shop and turning out some very nice gifts. When we meet for the family reunion in June we will be celebrating a 25 yr anniversary, 5 birthdays and the first great grand child's baby shower. What a time we're going to have! Mum is spreading mulch and I do bunny patrol to make sure she's safe. Life is good and I hope the 3 of you are safe and happy.
