Matt crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday, November 29 (2009) to play with Teddy and other friends.  Matt lived to age 12 1/2 years, and got the most out of every day. A Brittany living in Arizona, he quickly adapted to living in the desert and chasing lizards and bunnies, after being born in Virginia and chasing squirrels.

Matt loved swimming and eating peanut butter!  Although he had Cushings disease, blindness, and developed cancer, he enjoyed a full life!  He had a big yard to patrol, a pool to cool off in, and a variety of dog beds to nap in.  Matt was well known among friends and family for his "singing" Happy Birthday--and he did it everyday, it was a morning ritual, and even won him a local contest for Best Talent/Vocals.  There is a video of Matt singing it on here, along with one of him swimming, chasing a lizard, and eating corn on the cob!  Matt was a good friend, and will be missed.

WoooWeee.....that was a close one!

My Mom and Dad took me for our regular walk this morning.  We always go before the sun is up because in Arizona, the concrete and gravel can get REAL hot once the sun is out.  Anyway, the walk this morning was anything BUT normal.  We had barely started our walk when my Mom yelled "javelinas!!!"  Now, if you are not familiar with this critter, imagine a full grown pig, with tus...

    Well..Matt..I have to say.. I just love my cat Ella! I love chasing bunnies too! My mom takes us all (except Ella) out running in the woods every morning..we chase sqirrels, rabbits..all kinds of critters! there is also a creek and a lake so we swim almost everyday too! It was 17 degrees the other morning and I went swimming! The other dogs were too chicken to do it though! LOL!
